aw jeez, you're putting me on the spot here! 😳

it's a sci fi type series with color coded heroes, one could probably think of a few other series that are going to be influences on this story...

they're not just color coded for fun though. the main villainous group is attempting to take away all individuality, emotion, and free will from every living being in the universe and making everyone a hive mind. they're essentially erasing all "color" from the universe and the heroes are trying to prevent that from happening.

they are associated with these colors because there are these beings called the Astrofell that sort of "possess" the heroes and grant them powers and abilities based on the colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, and magenta). what powers these are aren't always obvious, for example, blue isn't water!

the most important thing about the story will be the relationships between the characters. while defeating the bad guys is important in universe, the bonds between the characters is much more important in terms of the narrative. series like this often put the development of the characters/relationships on the back burner in favor of action, and I'm striving not to do that.

it'll be a somewhat mature series as well, which is also something that doesn't happen with series like this. but it will be a fun and vibrant too.

the biggest themes are "what is the point of living if you can't be your true individual self" and "survival is nothing without purpose". once upon a time I got real mad at people who claimed art and love were pointless and now here I am. 😂

I hope to make posts about the individual characters someday, that's probably a bit much for this post lmao

that's the bare basics I think, definitely more than five sentences. 😅 this is a pretty ambitious idea and I should probably use one of my smaller ideas as the first story I actually get out there. but I'm just SOOOO inspired for this one, you know?

Licorice: In the CANON underfell?......Hm. Not sure I’d change anything canon. I would change FANON underfell and how people portray him as this weird nasty boi obsessed with flirting with the human. Like, seriously. Come on people.

Butterscotch: If me and Shinsou went on a date, I’d 100% want it to be a disney+ date along with a nice comfy pillow fort.

Licorice: I’d change how easily he let others' words get to him. If you wanna be a hero, by golly you can do it!

how does money work when these species evolved independently from one another and developed their own ideas of what money and value are for thousands of years before they ever met other aliens in space. trade is obvious, but you can't guarantee an alien is going to agree on the value of what's being traded

one of my characters is a runaway rich kid who still mooches off their parents bank account to fund their group's intergalactic superhero antics until that bites them in the ass one way or the other, so I gotta figure this out
