He’s never actually learned how to use Shunpo. He’s just fast enough on his own, though he’s never really been good at changing direction once he’s launched himself at his opponent. Still, he can’t help but admire the speed of some of the people he faces. It’s a personal challenge, keeping up with their movements, or even predicting their attacks by letting them whale on him for a while. It’s not like he can’t take the hits. Still, facing down the fastest being in Soul Society holds many possibilities, and Kenpachi’s itching to see what this match holds.
The forest outside of the Seiretiei gives her a bit of an advantage due to her stealth training. Kenpachi wouldn’t have it any other way. Overwhelming odds only make him even more excited. Besides, it’ll be just like playing hide ‘n seek with Yachiru. But more dangerous.
