Hi so im working on original story so here part of plot of story I'm planning to write
You see, 3 years ago there was a magical world, sparkling world full of wonder and magical girls, but here is Clarissa, her time is kinda rough, her mom works with a villian and she wants to make Clarissa like her, while Clarissa is jealous that her sister Tia doesn't has to deal with any of that, and so when she and her friends were playing all together, Clarissa ended up becoming too emotional, losing her temper and accidentally pretty much almost killing all of her friends, but thankfully her friend (future gf) Angie reversed time so they didn't got harmed (Angie has time magic, Clarissa ice magic), but Clarissa was so traumatised by entire situation that she wanted to magic to not exist at all, and so she asked girl named Catie (Catie has stardust (which also includes wishes) magic) to just, to get rid of it all, so it never would have happened, Catie was surprised by such request, and wasn't even sure if she could to fullfill it since she lost her own magic very recently fir unknown reason, but still, in trying to help her friend she herself made wish on the star, and goddess of stardust came and say she will fulfill the request if Catie lets her possess Catie's body
3 years have passed, wish got granted, and everyone who lives on Astora's island is unaware about existence of the magic, thinking thet are living normal human lifes, but them Clarissa finds magic flowers and then like, both she and Angie get their powers back, but because of loss of magic they weren't aware they lost powers in a first place, and then other teammates from their team started to join but as i said, they are unaware about the fact they knew each other before, and so they meet Angie, you see, in those 3 years suddenly started to appear magical leaks between worlds, leaks that for some reason have Stardust magic remains on them even though Catie says she isn't at fault at all, Catie wants to close all those leaks, so two kids who are sent after would stop try to catch her and take away her plush (which is actually goddess in disguise), and then she meets our team and asks them to help her with leaks since they are magical girls again, and so they together travel into different worlds to close thise leaks, and they even meet alternative versions of themselves in those worlds
But there one thing with magic leaking, if magic of same type as your own touches you, it's almost impossible to get rid of it, which Clarissa learned after she tried to control ice magic leak on her own only to get overloaded on it, and because of that overload, memories of her past started slowly to leak in, and she herself became more emotional and her powers harder to control, which would be one thing, but like, here is a prom really soon and she has to pretend that everything is fine, as if her entire worldview doesnt just got massively shaken
And so everyone are getting ready as she herself tries to pretend everything is fine, everything is fine, everything is fine, as she slowly starts learning more and more than her own town is actually under effect of one giant magic leak for some reason that she doesn't even remembers, but then on celebration, well, you can't pretend everything is fine forever, and so when she sees on the ball Catie winning the crown, she is just, she can't take it anymore, Clarissa is sure that Catie caused the leak and she is right, but she as i said, doesn't remembers true reason for the leak, and so she snaps and in emotions ends up freezing EVERYTHING, even her own parents, and not even Angie can reverse this because even though she can reverse injury, she can't reverse death, and so Clarissa runs away
And as she had run away, she meets a ghost, ghost who says to her that she can make her strong enough to close the leak covering her entire town, but for it she needs to get magic from her own alternative versions, and since she knows her other versions kinda suck (she meet them before) she kinda starts to destroy her own alternative versions
Also essentially backstory of the ghost is that she was a priestess of such goddess in fairytale world but then she got a vision of some unknown disaster, she told it to king, king thought it was a threat and first sent knight to kill the priestess, which didn't worked cuz she and her were dating and then he send a mage that left a hard blow to her and as she was dying, she prayed goddess to give her power to destroy them all and we saw how "good" decision making of that Goddess, so goddess gave her exact power that priestess prayed for, then priestess crashed the ball in the castle, killed almost everyone and then died because she still had this damage but because she had whole godly power stuff she didn't died and now she is a ghost and she wants to make goddess pay no matter what it takes
