This was a strange night for Darius. On the days he had guard duty, his shift stretched from the early hours of the morning till late into the night, so eating a simple dinner then going to bed was his regular after work routine. But today he was let off early- something that he was tempted to argue but knew it’d be strange to do so he let it be. Now he was left to his own devices and didn’t know what to do with himself. It was too early to sleep but too late to get any training done, the only other things he ever really did in this building. Deciding dinner was an easy option, the man headed in the direction of the nearest elevator. After making a sharp turn around a corner, the man found himself bumping into someone. “My bad.” He said, stepping back to give the person space, only to get a better look of their face and realize that he sort of recognized them. “Haven’t seen you in a while.”
