Pikestar and Petaleye died when Asterkit was two moons away from his apprenticeship, and Lynxfang began to take care of him after seeing the opportunity to become leader through the influence and support of who the clan would see as the rightful next in line. I decided to draw Lynxfang and Asterkit when Asterkit was younger than that though, because the idea of Asterkit being up to no good and getting gently carried around by the deadliest and most bloodthirsty cat in camp was so funny to me. darkpaw and icy paw!! i was toying around with lineless style just to see if it was quicker than my usual andd Yeah it is. would you guys care if i switched to lineless or is lined preferred?

icypaw’s was done first so his is less detailed. darkpaw’s was also way less detailed but then i changed my mind, here’s the original :]

asterstar is extremely lopsided but it’s okay. i think posting art you may think is ugly or art you aren’t all that proud of is okay & healthy !! :] also it would’ve taken me a whole extra day to redraw her so it’s time efficient.
