Sif is best known as the wife of Thor. Her most famous myth begins when the trickster god, Loki, cuts off her long golden hair while she sleeps, enraging Thor and then forcing Loki to find a way to repair the damage. Loki travels to the dwarves, master craftsmen of the Norse world, who forge magical golden hair that grows like real hair once placed on Sif's head. Sif's golden hair is often interpreted as symbolic of golden wheat fields, linking her to abundance, nourishment, and the cycles of nature. IN MY OPINION Sif in a chart can represent a) restoration, b) resilience, and/or c) feminine power.
i encourage you to look into the aspects of sif along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of sif AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede sif!
