oh man that is a great feeling! (re the learning curve thing) that happened to me with python - was lots of terrifying fumbling in the dark for a while until i finally got the basics down and learned enough terminology to be able to look up what i didn't know
Yeah, I’m thankfully at the point as a software engineer that I get past the terminology point pretty quickly, but aimless fumbling still happens. I wouldn’t call it terrifying, though. Every step teaches me something new, even if it’s not what I intended to have happen. My real issue these days is that I can’t seem to get enough time to just sit down and groove on a thing.

Good question. Let’s see…finish college, maybe grad school? Then a job? Real specific, I know, but I honestly have no idea! And travelling as much as I can, probably.

Does this mean favorite article of clothing, or specific item? I rather like long dresses and scarves, and if I could wear hats, I’d love them, but my head’s to big (no really it is). Specific item would be one of my dresses that looks like it’s straight from the early 50s :D
Moon: What are you currently studying/hope to study?
Ah, the million dollar question! To be honest, I have absolutely no idea. None. Nada. Zilch. I mean, I know I’m not going to do something math/sciencey because it’s not really my forte, but besides that, i got nothing. Strongest contenders right now are linguistics, history, and english. I may do Library Science for grad school, and become a children’s librarian, to hearken back to question 1, but I’m not sure.

12. favorite spells(s)?
Definitely short range teleportation. Honestly, I visualize jumping out windows to escape uncomfortable situations (I am in florida everything is on the first floor) enough that I would probably get called out on abusing the spell by local authority figures and get put on some sort of restriction oops :P
Also anything that lets me play with color and form and gravity. Imagine the art I could do with wizardry- JUST IMAGINE. there must be wizard art exhibits OH WAIT THAT’S SORTA THE PREMISE OF GWP except not really lololol
13. Would you sign up for an wizardry alien exchange program?
Yyyyyy- wow good question. I think I would want to? But might seriously chicken out? But if I could get over that initial freaking out stage I’d like to, especially if I could still come back and visit my friends!
i feel like this was discussed but it's not in the tag so consider: when bitty is stressed out, homesick, etc., his coping method is to pull out his figure skates, go to faber, and skates spells for strength, clarity, focus, courage, into the ice. they're as much for him as for everyone else. eventually they're iced over by the zamboni, but some of the intent stays - wizards on other teams feel it, but say nothing: it helps them too. (everyone plays just a bit better in faber, even other teams)
