Sorry, haha! Once you hit a topic I’m passionate about, I just totally go off on it! I’m glad you could agree with my take on your comment though. I just don’t find Kyle’s “crush” on Heidi believable when compared to his past crushes. But I also hope Kyle will have a successful crush someday... Maybe he’d have more luck with boys... Mean, chubby boys who are obsessed with him and rile him up, pfft!

Although I’ve said before that I don’t believe Kyle really had a crush on Heidi, that’s not to say I’m against them having a relationship. Though the idea of them together doesn’t excite me like it does other pairings I’m more into, I can see the appeal of these two nice, smart people hooking up. I think - if it wasn’t dirtied by Cartman’s influence - they could have a pretty stable relationship. Kyle would be there for any fundraisers Heidi held for the local animal shelter, and Heidi would cheer loudest for Kyle at all his basketball games. They’d likely have study dates at each other’s houses, and might even plan to go to the same college. It’s cute.

I feel you, Anon. As much as I’m digging Kyle getting his comeuppance for being so self-righteous and arrogant, and being brought back down to earth a little bit, I also wouldn’t mind getting to see my beautiful boy just being happy and carefree again. He’s been through so much in recent seasons. He’s put others through a lot too, of course (like Heidi and Canada); but I do feel like he’s suffered enough now. Make my son smile again, Matt and Trey. :’(

Now whether Kyle is just doing it to be a little shit or whether he genuinely thinks his jokes are actually funny, I’ll leave that up to you. ;)
