So I really wanted to post this Lukagami Art I made for my Miraculous Theoretical reboot—you know, the one with Emily as the Ladybug in it and fusion powers? No? Well, it is kinda half baked at the moment, but the it’s basically a rewrite with extra steps. (You know how Spider-Man has, like, ten adaptations? This is like an adaptation concept rather than a critical rewrite, if that makes sense.) And in this version of the story, this Lukagami ship is a thing. Now, Believe it or not, I actually like Feligami in the show proper—there’s a certain vibe to it that just makes it so entertaining to watch. And honestly, I get why the show didn’t go with Luka and Kagami as a ship instead, but I promise I thought about it a lot, and this just works better for what I’m doing.

For one thing, I reworked the powers of the dragon a bit—

And when I say a bit, I actually mean a lot. Completely new power set, weapon and miraculous. The power is a sort of Taunt ability that makes the user the center of attention, basically making it so that enemies can’t take their eyes off the user. Since the ability is less offensive now, and the user needs a way to protect themselves from oncoming attacks while other holders finish the fight, I gave her a more defensive weapon—a kite. It acts as a sort of shield/hand-glider/bludgeon, and just seemed more versatile and multi-use than the sword did. The miraculous is also now a hair spike instead of a necklace, with the reason for that being that I just wanted to add more variety to the miraculous pool, and there were already two other necklaces and a choker, so… why not, right?

Anyway, why would this affect shipping? Uh, it’s kind of complicated, but basically the dragon and the snakes power-sets just balance each other now. The Dragon can’t make any mistakes or it’s game over, but the snake can give the dragon a second chance. Vise-versa the snake is usually an immediate target for enemies who know what it does, but does it’s best work when it goes unnoticed, and the dragon’s power can draw attention away from the snake and allow it to do it’s thing. So they kind of just naturally fall into a sort of partnership with each other in that sense. Luka’s character in this version is all about passive observance and helping out on the sidelines, while Kagami is about standing front and center and acting decisively. They just work too well. So, yeah… I don’t know. I’ll probably draw more art of them together sometime so I can show y’all why I think it’s a good idea.

Made some drawings with Luka and some of his couples, specifically, the members with a miraculous.

Luka still has the snake miraculous, but Ziyue has Rose's miraculous (the pig).

These are August and Autorite.

August has the bat miraculous, which grantes the hability of ecolocalization, in this case, he can see (he is blind), but normally, you can't see with this miraculous.

Ok so I decided to try and do @lovebugs-and-snakecharmers​‘ Sprint Challenge. The theme is AUs so I picked out the fantasy AU and this is the result. So we have Witch!Marinette and cursed!Luka. Usually most people go with either Marinette’s normal look or reimagine Ladybug as a witch/mage but I decided to go with Multimouse. So the basic back story is that Luka is cursed by an evil witch *cough* Lila *cough* and is trapped in snake form most of the time but can only take his true form under full moon light. At some point, Marinette finds him and meets him. Que shenanigans and mischief as Luka and Marinette become friends and try to break his curse. Will I write this story? Yes, I’m already gonna start to work on it but technically it won’t be done as a sprint.

Anyway, the image below is what I had done when I finished the sprint so I’m pretty proud of how this all came out.

A little Lukanette inspired by the Miraculous Ladybug fanfic Violet by @saijspellhart - I hope you like your semi-surprise gift! I really love your portrayal of demon Luka, and I couldn't get Marinette's dream out of my head.

This was absolutely an excuse to try out some fluff with a hypothetical future scene. Though I don't expect he visits parks as a snake much...

Technical Notes: This is actually five separate renders layered together to make the most of the lighting and scenery depth. Snek!Luka has a custom color map, and Marinette is a customized model. About 14 hours in DAZ and CSP.

A Lukagami commission for @joeneauxvieve from her lukagami fic. I had a lot of fun with this one. 

Luka is a hunter, who is a snake shapeshifter and Kagami is a dragon shapeshifter that he was sent to find.  If you are a lukagami fan, I suggest giving the fic a read. It’s enjoyable! :3

-Marinette/Ladybug still considers Chat noir a good friend. So Adrien finds a way to hang around Marinette as the cat sometimes.

-Felix is the guy who keeps Adrien away from Marinette.

-”If you want to be friends with Marinette, then you have to expose Lila.”

-”Exposing someone doesn’t make them good, it will only make Lila get akumatized and cause more problems.”

-”So Marinette has to suffer. Get out of my sight you Spineless Jellyfish”

-Luka comforting Marinette about the whole situation.

-Luka telling Felix that Marinette would not want him to be mean to her classmates.

-”Thats why I do it, she is too nice to do that to those a$$holes.”

-Luka and Felix get that they both want to protect Marinette and have a bond of mutual respect.

-Kagami honing her fencing, next time she faces Adrien, she WRECKS him.
