Sapphe is an introject of an OC we created when we were like 11~12 years old to cope w/ certain stuff, she split off due to a traumatic event around 14 years old
We are now 22.
Honestly the chemistry was already there due to her source being based on a character we kinda created to be our type?? At least she happened to be both mine and oyr previous host's type??
She split off very close to her source material at first but shes grown a whole lot and separated a lot from it, but for a while now we've been sort of modifying the OC to fit.. the alter now?
For example, Sapphe the alter had a lot more struggle with talking and much more pronounced autistic traits than the OC to which bcuz she has attachment to her source while still recognizing she is not the OC she has asked me to update the OC to fit her better a few times throughout our life lol. I am always more than happy to oblige if she finds comfort in me modifying the OC to fit her better so she can imagine having a life of her own.
Anyways i digress, basically she was my type, when i became host she was cohost and still is, we've spent 8 years sharing a body and working together and learning to communicate with eachother and lower amnesic barriers between us through therapy and a lot of coping/mental work
In the end we just had a spark and while we dont have separate bodies (smth we both mourn a lot and ache for) we recognize our love is real and meaningful and important enough to us to address it as dating
When we are in the front room together we have chemistry and were often very close in the headspace
And when we arent in the front room we've gone on dates in the headspace a few times ^^
Idk if this will make sense to a singlet (if you happen to be) but i really hope it can bring some sort of understanding as to how that could happen
