Rosie and Maestro are exes, they broke up on good terms. Hense why Maestro is still alive

Vaggi and Baxter do actually get along very well, which makes Charlie very happy

Nifty has a collection of fish bones that she wants to gift to Baxter.

Zestial got very drunk one time and mocked Valentino at an overlord party, Alastor joined in and mocked Vox.

Pale King offers himself to take Herrah's place as a Dreamer so that she can watch Hornet grow up. As a result of this, Herrah vows to protect Hallownest alongside Hornet as a sign of gratitude.

Pretty much everything that happens in Hollow Knight canonically, does happen here too just with Herrah guarding Pale King's body within Deepnest. The Knight dueling her to reach the King's body.

With Silksong however, some things are a lot more different; such as Herrah also being taken by the Citadel bugs alongside Hornet. She goes along with Hornet on most of her travels, though for some parts she just remains in Bellhart (eg: whenever Hornet does a delivery task, Herrah will stay back so Hornet can focus better)

Bugs like Sherma, Shakra and Garmond as expected respect Herrah and see her accompanying Hornet as quite wholesome. Though Shakra is slightly jealous that Hornet has a good bond with her birth mother, despite that she does still see their bond as very sweet and admirable, hoping to be a mother like Herrah if she were to ever find a mate.

Extra stuff, not important lore-wise but still happen:

Herrah ships Styxnet, like- dead ass sees Styx as the best option for Hornet

Hornet has reaper crest, Herrah of course has Beast crest

A lot of teasing from Herrah about Hornet sharing Pale King's love for tinkering

Sherma accidentally calls Herrah "mother" a few times during the adventure through Pharloom

What if Hornet inherited more traits from The Pale King rather than Herrah?

Essentially, in this AU everything is almost the exact same as in canon, except for Hornet's appearance and how few characters see her. A few examples are:

The weavers we see in The Red Memory are more hard on Hornet, disappointed that she wasn't more weaver than wyrm

Some of the bugs in hallownest somewhat worship her like they did with her father

Lace is a bit more cautious with her words, still antagonising her but slightly scared of her too

Shakra never refers to her as a child, though she is a bit more cautious about Hornet until she sees her fulfilling wishes for the pilgrims and other bugs

Styx is WAY more eager to be her slave, much to Hornet's discomfort

The fleas surprisingly still view her as they do in canon, though Kratt doesn't stay in the caravan group for long. Not because of death, but because Mooshka himself decides to tell him to leave.
