From Desert Iris’s house, the group walked to the train station. Rainbow Dash insisted on taking the train so she could plan out her report to Twilight when she got home. As they waited for the train, they could hear some pony calling for them. When they looked, they seen that Ruby was running towards them.

Ruby: Oh, thank goodness! I was able to catch up to you!

Keira: Ruby? Is ever thing alright?

Ruby: Oh, just fine! I forgot to give you something before you left!

As fast as she could, Ruby dug through her saddlebags and pulled out a book.

Ruby: Here we go! This might help you some. It’s your father’s photo album from when he was young. It was at my house for some reason, but I thought you should have it. I happened to find it when I was doing research last night after you left for Iris’s. I’m sure your mother would be incredibly shocked to see it!

Keira: Wow! That’s amazing! Thank you, Ruby!

Keira hugged Ruby once again. As they hugged each other, a distant train whistle could be heard. The train departing for Ponyville was on its way.

Discord: I really hate to cut this short again, but it looks like we’ve got to be on our way now.

Ruby: No, I get it! I just had to get that to Keira before you left. Well, you all have a safe trip home! And good luck on your report, Rainbow Dash!

Rainbow: Thanks! I’m pretty sure I’m going to get it right though.

Keira: Good bye, Ruby! And thanks for everything!

Discord: So long! Farewell!

Ruby: Catch you all next time!

While on the train ride home, Keira and Rainbow Dash discussed what Rainbow should give to Twilight for her report while Discord was off exploring the train carts again.

Once back in Ponyville, Keira, Discord, and Rainbow Dash got off the train and tried to figure out what to do next.

Keira: Well, Dash. Ready to give that report to Twilight?

Rainbow: You know it!

Keira: Discord, could you do me a favor and take my bag back home? You don’t have to hang around for Rainbow Dash’s report if you don’t want to.

Twilight: Thanks, Keira. I just hope every pony else is as forgiving as you are...

Keira: Try not to worry too much about it, alright?

It was getting later in the day, and after strolling around Canterlot, the group finally made it to one of the towers of Canterlot Castle, specifically the one Keira, Twilight, and Spike would study in when they were in school. Keira: Home sweet home, eh?

Twilight: I guess you could say that. Alright, now if I’m going to fix this mess, the logical place would be to start at the beginning.

Keira: I guess you’re right about that. I’m kind of curious to see if anything’s changed.

Carefully, Twilight opens the door to the tower. Much to the group’s surprise, nothing had changed. At all.

Twilight: Weird. It’s exactly as we left it.

Twilight, Spike, and Keira walk up the spiral staircase and up to where they would study.

Twilight approaches one of the dusty books and blows off the dust. Twilight: It’s the book of Predictions and Prophecies! And it’s still opened to the Elements of Harmony!

Had some questions in my askbox and all of them are for pinkis somehow. so she went ahead answered them. might do more of this in the future. but thanks for the questions still.

About half an hour after Shining visited Pearl and Starlime, the aerial relay had finished and ponies were starting to leave the stadium to either go grab something to eat or to go home. The next event was being prepared as the audience did their thing.

After a time, Keira had finally met up with her mom and grandma. It was originally planned that they would do this before Keira preformed.

Pearl: Ooh, look at my little girl! You look so pretty!

Pearl excitedly hugged her daughter.

Starlime: So, how are you feeling? Ready to get out there?

Keira: Well… no. I’m really nervous. I don’t know if I can do this anymore. What if I mess up so badly in front of every pony that I don’t even get bronze? I’d feel like I let every pony in Ponyville down. Like I just made the whole town into a joke…

Pearl and Starlime were in shock.

Pearl: Honey, no pony will think that. All any pony else asked for is that you did your best.

Starlime walked up to Keira and placed her hoof on her face lovingly.

Starlime: Keira, dear. I’ve seen you accomplish so much in your life. You reformed the Lord of Chaos and somehow made the two of us friends. You’ve saved Equestria at least twice now. This dance will be a cakewalk for you.

Pearl: She’s right, honey. If you just believe in yourself, you can do it.

Keira nervously fidgeted a little, a smile on her face.

The announcement shortly thereafter went off.

Announcer: The dance competition is about to start. Would the representative from Ponyville please make their way to the stadium? Again. The representative from Ponyville, please make your way to the stadium.

Pearl: That’s your cue, honey! Don’t worry though, you can do this.

Before Keira left for the stadium, her mom gave her one last tight hug.

Pearl: We’re going to find our seats now. Don’t you worry about anything. We’ll be rooting for you the whole time!
