hi dear, hope you’re doing well too. there’s this compilation on trauma which isn’t childhood focussed and i have these in my childhood tag but are more vague wrt trauma: one / two.

i’m not going to find more specific ‘compilation’ style posts to rb or recommend or make one because works discussing these topics are often so personal and raw, and i fear that a compilation where snippets are taken from these poems would... homogenise and sanitise that voice rather than let each stand on its own and speak on their personal experience? i don’t want to share cut-out sections based on my interpretation - i think these works deserve more respect than that 

so instead i’m going to link to some content relating to this topic. i’ve put a couple of TWs but i think it’s clear that we’re generally dealing w heavy topics here - none of these are particularly light reads. i can’t in good conscience encourage you to read them and still not sure if i should be linking them all here  - so i hope it doesn’t seem annoying if i perhaps recommend that you have some poems or quotes or songs or other works you find comforting/healing/generally more positive energy on standby if you do decide to delve in?
