“It’s too hard to choose a favorite n’ least favorite when it comes to dishes because it changes so often! By season, by cravin’s, by what ingredients I’ve got, by whether I’m feelin’ creative or nosalgic or wanna make somethin’ totally new or somethin’ just like Mama makes, y’know?

Variety is half the fun! I’m not stuck just fixin’ the same couple dishes every day— not even limited to one style of cuisine! Simple, exotic, fancy, complex— they all got their pros and cons and viable places in this heart of mine! Somethin’ served up in a pan that’ll sizzle all the way to the table, somethin’ that pairs well with a nice red wine, somethin’ with ingredients I’m excited ‘bout gettin’ to use— spice palettes I don’t get to play with as often, dishes I’ve made a thousand times and can make perfectly with a hand tied behind my back— that’s the beauty of it! It’s all my passion, every last dish, every single one! Sweet, spicy, sour, salty, bitter, rich, there’s no wrong answers!

Sure, sure, some days there’s things I ain’t necessarily in the mood to make because they ain’t such a challenge or the ingredients shipped in aren’t in perfect season, sometimes even tweakin’ a recipe can get frustratin’ if things ain’t comin’ together just right and is lackin’ a certain je ne sais quoi seemingly no matter what. Even then though, personal tastes vary so much! A dish I could consider my magnum opus could easily fall flat to someone else, and that’s okay! I get thrown so many ideas of foods I know I wouldn’t like on ‘most a daily basis, n’ while some of y’all are jokin’ (I think), some of y’all are very much attached to your hotdogs with cream cheese and mayo or your peanut butter and jelly and macaroni and cheese sandwiches and whatnot. While those ain’t recipes I’m gonna invest in, that’s still illustratin’ my point! It’s all up to personal tastes, preferences, opinion! My preferences might align with y’all’s perfectly, or they may clash! That’s why I put so much effort into variety! Servin’ up things that are bound to make everyone happy knowin’ full well that it ain’t gonna just be one dish that does that wonderful trick! Would be no point in recipe cards or menus or types of restaurants or nothin’ like that if everyone was lookin’ for the exact same thing!

I apologize for bein’ vague, not havin’ any strict answer to these, but variety is where my passions lie! I ain’t runnin’ low on recipes, my dears, nor joy in findin’ more n’ perfectin’ others, addin’ twists, servin’ things hot or cold, and my answers are gonna be just as all over the place as a result, plain n’ simple!”

Yeah, she’s a female Pink Yoshi. I think the bow’s just to make it clear she’s a girl, since Yoshis in general (even the pink ones) are depicted as male.
