The vice admiral paced back and forth, fearing the worse as he witnessed the calender.

It had seemed that it was three days had passed and there was still no word if Dragon had gotten his package at all. He gave a sigh and looked at on the bookshelf, which held many books, most that were based on training, but there was the odd book that way by Stephen King and other various authors. Guilt clawed his way into the old man's heart as he remembered every single year being with the boy and now it seemed that the marine force and his family conflicted his life where he wondered where his priorities lie. 

He remembered his gift with fondness. At first, he'd wrapped it with Dragons favorite color, which he remembered was a light red and there was a gold Dragon on the top to resemble his name. Inside the package he neatly wrapped model ships in newspaper as to not have them in pieces when his son received them. 

Then finally, on the top of the gift, there was an envelope which held an ancient, gold paper that was a letter. The letter read,

Dear Dragon,

If this gift got to you late, I am greatly sorry. As a son, I couldn't be more proud of you. I hope you enjoy your gift and tell your mother I love her.
