Something to check out relating to PoC in Tolkien's works
Hey. So I was kindly reminded about one of my favorite downloadable guides, that is askmiddlearth's 'Racism and Middle Earth'
Check it out. It is an invaluable resource, especially for those of you who are working on character design. And it really opened my eyes about the fact that there is actual racial diversity in Middle Earth, despite the white washing on many adaptions.
I've got plenty of archived meta that corresponds to this week's reading! For first-time readers, beware that I can't guarantee these posts are spoiler-free! (Although we're getting far enough along in the story that there aren't too many spoilers left...)
