Oh!

Humans are these amazing, wonderful, super heroic creatures that are summoned to my world to save it whenever it's in danger! They're not Pokemon, they're something else entirely, and can do so many super cool things! They have every type, every one looks so different from one another, they're able to replace their limbs with metal, make machines that can fly, and so so so much more!

Ryo: I love swimming in the ocean. It’s peacefully with the sounds of waves creating soothing natural music. The kelp forest is a really nice place to sit as well, the light filtering between the waves and plants creates a dazzling light show.

Rosa: Everywhere! It’s especially fun to fly through the hidden portals scattered around the island. Though if I have to sit somewhere, I’d snuggle anywhere with my Blew-Blew.

Kami: I like to sit on the station roof with Gale. It’s a warm sunny spot for napping and you can see so much of the island. The moss and plants up there are are soft and comfy.

Aura: I like to go to the top of Glacier Mountain at night. The stars are gorgeous.

Mito: I like to be anywhere, as long as I’m with my family. I don’t like being alone. Though, if I have to pick a favorite, it’s on top of Kami’s fluffy tail. Her fur is so soft!!!

Mewa: I like inside the research station. It rains a lot outside, and the station is always perfectly warm and dry. Alex even has some poke-beds in certain spots for us, though we don’t go in there when strangers are in the station.

Haines was a bit surprised by the creature that was in front of her. Was it one of those pokemon from Paldea? It was a country she was not entirely familiar with. It was a quartet of small rodents. Brought to mind a Kangeskhan. Regardless, the group asked a question.

"You could say I have ways of pulling strings," the sense of self-satisfaction Haines had long shelved due to everything that happened over the last few months finally returned to her. "When you have been through as much as I have, you will eventually find a way of building a number of contacts."

"As for how hard it is to keep anyone under your thumb; yes and no. There is a spectrum for me in terms of how easy it is to have people under your control. For me there are four factors on how to control someone: social standing, length of time known, their own agenda and their social circle. If someone has to struggle with finances or possessions, put a carrot on a stick. If you have known someone a long time, you are able to get more favors out of them. Someone has a goal, offer assistance in favor of furthering your own. Everyone has a social circle, find the strongest and weakest link and work from there. Keep in mind, these are not a greater or less than situation, it is far more fluid."
