Merida walked through the doors to her new apartment building and stepped into the elevator. Checking her piece of paper again, just to triple check on the room floor, pushed the button and stuck the note back into her bag. She fixed her blue tanktop in the mirrored walls, before moving her hands up to her matching beanie.
"Oy, ah really hope meh new roommate isnae ah weirdo." She said to herself. Maybe it would have been better if she had met the guy first, but she was in such desperate need of a nice apartment close to campus, and he had a spare room he needed to rent out. It was two blocks from campus and even had a full bathroom. He sounded like a decent guy on the phone, but how can you tell these things from a phonecall.
Well, at least her parents knew where she was in case she went missing.
The elevator dinged when she made it to her floor. She lugged her suitcase out with her, the rest of her stuff would make it there in an hour or two. Slowly making her way down the hall, she arrived at room 2 and knocked on the door. She leaned back on her heals, sticking her hands in her brown jeans, and waited for this.. Hiccup to answer.
