Beowulf looks a bit confused at the spooky looking imp that appeared from the shadows.  “Huh? Take a swing?” he repeats before perking up. “Oh! You mean my sword? I... normally would let you, but my sword was stolen. But uh...” he trails off a bit.

Vesemir perked up a bit from an idea. “Oh! I have an idea,” he states before going over to a tree. He sizes it up before cutting off a low limb with his axe-like tail. When he was done, he handed the shadowy Pokemon a crudely cut wooden sword.

The Mismanoir himself was busy perusing over the pamphlet Whisper had given him about the town itself. Passho Town, named after the Passho Berries that were harvested in great abundance. Likely due to the town’s fishing industry and their daily run ins with more aggressive Water type pokemon. However, something told Eudai this village no longer indulged in such activities with Whisper running the shots now. His mental isolation had been shattered when he heard a voice. Dripping to the brim with sarcasm. For a moment, Eudai almost thought it was Whisper until he turned to see a rather curious creature.

Was it a Giratina? Or something else? Eudai didn’t know what to think. But this Gold individual. Something about it awoke a hunger deep within Eudai. A hunger he knew all too well as it gnawed at his psyche. Not wanting to be rude, Eudai deemed it necessary to respond back. “Naturally. Logic and intelligence is what drives sentient beings in the first place. At least those more well endowed with mental fortitude than others.” The ghost paused, his head tilted to the side as he tried to interpret whatever nonsense Gold spewed his way.

“Are my energy levels low? I acquired the appropriate amount of sustenance and rest-”, was all Eudai could utter before Whisper appeared out of nowhere and shoved Eudai to the side. “Dearest brother, I do believe our guest was only half joking. Might I recommend you reach the town hall? That way, you can keep yourself preoccupied before I arrive.” The ghoul suggested, her tone surprisingly soft and soothing. Eudai stared for a few seconds before simply turning around. Floating towards the building with a modicum of haste.

Whisper merely waved gently the entire time until her little brother had entered the structure. Her sickly sweet expression melted into one of annoyance and anger as she spun around. “What’s the big idea, Bucko?!” The ghoul growled, jabbing a bony finger at Gold’s tiny chest. “I’m trying to make a deal here and you’re ruining it for me!” Whisper spat, her eyes bulging out of their sockets. “If he knew what you really were, I’d have nothing to bargain over him with!” Whisper’s face settled a bit, her face locked in a half scowl.

“Forgive my outburst, I’ve just never seen another Uxie before! But to answer your question, I feel no need to disguise myself. Mortals being intimidated by beings such as ourselves is a silly notion and shouldn’t stop us from being who we are. Don’t you worry though! If you feel more comfortable disguising yourself, you go right ahead! Oh it’s wonderful to meet another Uxie! My name is Orvis, by the way!”

Upon confirmation, the Wingull lights down on the ground, drawing a piece of parchment from her sash, holding it out for them to take. Upon closer inspection, it could be seen that the paper had several tear stains, though they were pretty dry.

Once she was sure the recipient was reading it, the Wingull took off, not wanting to linger. She wasn’t supposed to take responses, anyway. If they had questions, they would follow Mesprit’s instructions.

Mesprit’s note read:

Dear Angie, If you are reading this, it is because at one point you met me or Uxie. I don’t care if it was a brief exchange, or we’re friends… There’s something you should probably know. However, a note is no place for this kind of information. Please, meet me at Fogbound Lake in a few days. There will be others there, and every one of you needs to hear this. I am not forcing you to come, but it would be in your best interest. I would say ‘don’t be worried,’ but I don’t like misleading people…

She read over the letter once more, it seemed that something important was going on. Her excitement was rising, and her curiosity had already been piqued. How could she resist?

As soon as she was done reading, she began packing and made her way out towards the lake. Angie had teleported herself to the town closest to the lake, and walked the rest of the way.
