Anya: What are some societal norms you think make no sense at all?

Uhhh...I know there are probably a shit ton that I’ll of right after I post this, but I can’t really think of any. I guess the biggest thing is allowing old people to say whatever they want, just because they’re old, even if what they’re saying is god awful.

2.       What does your id want? Do you ever give in?

Ha ha ha ha, probably just something so pornographic it becomes repulsive, swings back to sort of normal, and then just settles into unsettlingly weird.

I don’t really know how to write that though so I haven’t given in. Yet? 

Also, and this is true of any artistic impulse, whether it’s fandom-related or real life offerings, it’s hard to get rid of that self-consciousness we all carry around. The certainty that we are most definitely making fools of ourselves. I’m an enormous fool in real life made only slightly cooler by virtue of internet pseudo-anonymity and I still get freaked out when I post anything. Because it’s embarrassing to put this out there, your work, which is you. No matter what it is. I think that fear stops me from going further with some things, more than I care to admit.
