If there was one thing about the species that countless novels and films had gotten right, it was that a vampire's kiss was damn near intoxicating, addicting like no drug. Weiss had scoffed at it in the past, thinking it to be some kind of silly exaggeration. She couldn't have been more wrong.
Blake had always been a good kisser, to be fair. She may have been a fifty year old virgin before Weiss had turned eighteen, but she'd clearly done her fair share of kissing.
Blake kissed slow and deep, her fangs brushing lightly against Weiss's lips and her tongue taking its sweet time exploring her mouth, and the were knew that she could spend the rest of her life just kissing Blake and she would be happy.
She didn't know if that was a vampire thing, but she knew it was definitely a Blake thing.
The fact that she was a vampire and her fangs just made the kisses sweeter, steamier, was really a bonus.

I know ferineblake already requested this but Agegap Monochrome please? But the reverse- I mean like if you were going to write about an older wolfy younger blakey, could you maybe write about an older blakey younger wolfy? Or vice versa. (ouo)
So you get younger Blake/older Weiss and since you specified Wolfy I figured, why not, let's make this the cop AU, I haven't done anything for that recently. I hope you enjoy it!
----
The moments had become few and far between, as Blake adjusted to herâher new life. Because that was what this was, now. She couldnât run from it anymore. Her life as a member of White Fang was over, and now she was just Blake Belladonna: sixteen years old, about to turn seventeen soon, and tentatively looking over Beacon once Weiss had dropped the subject.
She had been given back Gambol Shroud, though she was still being fiercely monitored. Weiss had pulled some strings, had gotten her a local job at a library to keep her from going mad with boredom. She visited with Eve and Odelle, and her cousin wasnât above crashing into the library during her work hours.
And when her shift was over she walked the short distance to Weissâs apartment. It was⌠nice. She had a life. A new life.
But sometimes, she just⌠still missed White Fang. Missed what it had been. And more than anything, she missed Adam.
It had hit her this time in the middle of the night, waking her up from what had been a relatively peaceful, if dreamless sleep. Weiss was warm beside her, her breathing deep and even, canine ears relaxed and loose; ever since theyâd started having sex regularly, the cop had given up and had let Blake stay in her room.
At least she hadnât woken up crying, even if she could hear the hitch in her breath and feel the tears stinging at her eyes. At least she hadnât woken up Weiss.
Weiss.
Weiss was next to her. The cop that had annoyed her, infuriated her, confused her at every turn. Taking a deep, shaking breath, the feline faunus turned and wrapped her arms tight around the older woman, buried her face in her shoulder and clung.
When Weissâs arms came around her, warm and gentle, fingers tangling in her hair and stroking her ears, Blake managed a weak, choked purr. The copâs lips brushed against her forehead, and the former terrorist sniffled.
Weiss didnât ask, just held her through the night until she fell asleep again. It wasnât perfect, but it was pretty damn close.
For the anon who requested an Under The Sea AU drabble. Next one will be SWATH.
----------------------
The migration was something Blake had done all her life. As the seasons shifted, so too did the temperatures of the sea; the fish headed for warmer waters, and the mermaids that didnât live in the main kingdom followed them. It was something the shark had never truly thought about not doing. It simply wasnât an option.
But that had been before Weiss. Before her moon and ice made the thought of cold seas bearable. Blake would have swum through solid ice itself and foregone the warmest of waters, if it meant being with Weiss.
In the end, she didnât stay away long.
The water was so cold that she couldnât even draw breathe, but the mermaid plunged through it as quickly, letting the waves carry her the rest of the way onto the beach. She dug her fingers into wet sand and pulled herself out, chest heaving as her tail cracked and bent into human legs.
God, she never got used to that.
The shakes were already setting in as she staggered to her feet and made a beeline for the rocks, not caring how they tore at her feet as she scrambled over them to reach the grassy backyard of Weissâs apartment building. There was a winter chill in the air, and her hands trembled as she knocked at the back door.
âWeiss.â She knocked again, louder. âW-Weiss, itâs me. Open u-up, please, itâsâitâs cold.â
She hadnât ever considered that Weiss wouldnât be home. But it wasnât something she needed to worry about anyway; there was the sound of the lock being undone, and the door opened. Stunned ice blue eyes met gold before Weiss pulled her inside, slamming the door shut and hissing, wolf ears flattening.
Blake smiled, shakily. âH-Hey.â
âYou idiot, youâre cold to the touch.â The faunus pulled her into the bathroom, turned the water on hot and let the tub fill before she urged Blake into the tub. The mermaid sank into the warm water with a grateful sigh, eyes drifting shut as Weiss knelt down, gently stroked her hair.
âFeeling better?â The wolfâs voice was soft.
âMm.â She opened her eyes, looked up at Weiss. âI missed you.â
â⌠I missed you, too.â Weiss kissed her forehead, and Blake smiled. âYou soak. Iâll make you something hot.â
So today is dori's birthday (and since currently my link options is being a shit, her url is here:Â dogtit.tumblr.com SO WISH HER HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU SHITS) and to celebrate, enjoy some Freezerburn that we basically discussed all of last night.
An additional note: this Freezerburn stars cisdude!Yang based off of dashingicecream's design for him and transgirl!Weiss. So, you know, if that isn't your thing you can just avoid this and go on with your day.
Weiss had missed their last class of the afternoon. Not showed up and then left early; sheâd skipped it entirely. Theyâd all noticed, of course. Weiss had never missed class, not for anything, even on the worst days when the jabs at her femininity had caused a dark storm cloud to gather threateningly around her head.
For her to miss class meant it was something even darker than usual, and that worried Yang immediately. He was her boyfriend, it was his job and he was kind of sort of a lot in love with her.
Blake, bless her soul, had seen the worry on him clear as day and had suggested to Ruby that maybe they should go to the library to study with team JNPR instead of heading back to the room. Ruby hadnât even argued, had agreed it was a great plan, and had only given Yang one worried look before going with his partner.
Bless them both, really. He had the best team in the world.
He tried the knob of the dorm room and found it locked; another bad sign. He couldnât tell if lights were on, and it was entirely possible that he was simply over thinking this whole thing. He tended to do that when he worried.
But Weiss had missed class today.
He had every reason to be worried.
Yang lifted a hand and knocked, more to be polite and considering than out of any sense of privacy; he was the only guy on the team, sure, but Ruby had been around him her whole life and Blake and Weiss had quickly become desensitized to his presence. This was more about respecting his girlfriendâs current mindset.
âWeiss? Iâm coming in, babe.â
He slid his key in, oddly reassured when the door swung open, and stepped in quickly to close it quietly behind him. The room was dark, and for a moment Yang paused as his eyes adjusted. So Weiss had locked herself up in their dorm room, alone, with the lights off.
He was beyond worried, on this point.
The only thing that kept him from rushing in immediatelyâbeyond the fact that he couldnât see worth a damn, it was times like these that he dearly wished for Blakeâs faunus night visionâwas the sound of breathing that came from Weissâs bed. Whatever state of mind she was currently in, she at least hadnât done anything to herself.
Yang hoped. But he couldnât smell blood, so he took that as another good sign.
He still couldnât see perfectly in the dark, but he wasnât patient enough to wait. Using Weissâs breathing as a guide and what he knew of the roomâs lay out, he carefully made his way over to the heiressâs bed, ducking down low and sitting next to her.
Weiss didnât reach out to him, but that was okay. Yang didnât mind doing the reaching.
His hand found her hair in the darkness, silky and smooth and cool to the touch. She didnât respond to it, but she didnât push him away either, so Yang took that as a good sign even if it wasnât exactly what heâd hoped for.
Damn. Whatever happened must have been bad, if Weiss wasnât even willing to complain about it. His girl had always had a bite to her even when she was being teased, but for silence like thisâŚ
Dammit. There was exactly one class that he didnât have with Weiss, and at the moment Yang was wishing the concept was something solid so he could burn it all to ash.
When the thought crossed his mind, he very nearly dismissed it. He hadnât sung on his own again since Summer Rose had died, and it had just been a desperate attempt to cheer Ruby up when she had been going through her darkest days.
And the song had been so stupid. Stupid and childish, but it was the best Yang had been able to come up with to cheer up his sister.
But right now it was the best thing he had. The alternatively was doing nothing, and Yang couldnât do nothing. That just wasnât how he was wired.
So Yang breathed in deep, and sang.
âDream of anything, Iâll make it come true.â His voice shook, just a little, but he kept going until it evened out, continuing to stroke Weissâs hair.
She didnât respond, didnât say anything, but she was still breathing and she hadnât told him to stop yet. He took that as a good sign.
He kept singing. It amazed him, really, how easily the words came to him even though it had been years since heâd sung the song. His voice was nothing compared to Weissâfrankly he wasnât a good singer period, Ruby had teased him about itâbut he sang and sang because she didnât tell him to stop, and right now that was all he had.
He'd sing forever, if it was what Weiss wanted. Whatever it took to cheer her up from whatever dark, cold place she was currently in.
At some point while he was singingââWhen the days turn dark and we start to fall, I will pick you up and we will fix it all.ââWeissâs hand found his and held on tight. By the time he was near the end of the song she was sitting up, leaning into his shoulder and humming quietly along with the tune. Yang reached the last note, held it for as long as he could, and finally let it fade.
For a moment, there was nothing but silence.
Finally, Weiss sighed softly and nuzzled into his neck, and Yang tentatively wrapped his arm around her as she reached over and turned on a light, pressed their foreheads together.
âFeeling better?â he tried, smiling slightly.
She sighed. âYour singing is horrible, you know.â But her eyes were warm, and there was no sting to her voice.
Yang laughed, delighted, and squeezed her close. âThereâs my ice queen!â
Weiss rolled her eyes and kissed him, and it occurred to Yang then that she still hadnât told him what had happened, who had hurt her. But it was okay. She would, in time.
For now, heâd just enjoy the fact that heâd brought back some light for her.
Alex had never thought she would literally catch Blake Belladonna with her ass hanging out in the air. It was either a stroke of luck, or a terrible coincidence that brought her to the faunusâ room late one Friday night, intent on setting a trap for her obnoxious mark. What she hadnât planned for, however, was for Blake to still be in the room. Not just in the room; in the room naked with her equally naked girlfriend and tangled around her in a way that really showed off her cat heritage.Â
Luck or chance? Alex could never decide.Â
Still, even when two pairs of startled eyes turned on her, Alex couldnât find it in herself to flee. Instead she had noticed something else, a tiny little detail that most wouldnât have even seen, had their suspicions not already been raised.Â
In this case, it was the tiny bump that had overtaken Weissâ once smooth stomach.Â

Sure, being in the ocean naked was an entirely new experience Weiss had never thought sheâd get to feel, but sheâd gone swimming before. So she hadnât quite understood Blakeâs insistence that she needed to learn how to swim in the waters around the city sheâd called home since her fatherâs ship had gone down in a storm.
Maybe the mermaid just wanted an excuse to feel her up. Which, considering what they did when Blake was humanâŚ
Blake had the decency to look sheepish, at least, happily floating on her back and her arms wrapped tight around Weiss, hugging the faunus close. âForgive me, ttheeni,â she murmured. âBut the seasons are changing, and the fish are migrating. I must follow them. IâI wanted to spend time with you before then.â
It rose up in Weissâs throat all too quickly: she didnât have to go. She could become human, stay in the city, even if it meant the ocean wouldnât be suitable for her. But she swallowed, hard, said instead, âIâll wait for you.â
Blakeâs relieved smile against her neck almost made it worth it. Almost.
"I'm going to meet Velvet for lunch, then we'll spend time together."
Honestly, it wasn't strange that Blake had ended up so attached to the new hunter at Beacon: Velvet Scarlatina had been turned against her will like Blake had been, and had even been turned by someone she had trusted, though the shy young woman was giving no details on who that had been. In the short time since she had joined Beacon, she and Blake had bonded immensely quickly.
Which was all well and good, except Velvet triggered Blake's protective caring instinct something fierce.
Weiss wasn't the sort to get jealous easily. She had Blake's mark on her neck, she knew that her werewolf had chosen her. But it was occasionally easy to forget that when Velvet was bringing out behavior in her that only the vampire had done before.
You're pathetic and insecure, Schnee.
She managed a smile. "Sure. I have some files I need to close on our past hunts anyway, so I'll get that done while you're out.
