Your experience with Javascript was much the same as mine. One semester, covered the basics of vanilla JS plus some JQuery. It sounds like it might have been a bit more in-depth than yours since I picked it up well enough to do some coding at my job, but it's terrible and I'm ready for the next big thing, lol. We sadly did not have a C# course (I got stuck with Visual Basic, bleh), but I did do a semester of C++ and it was much, much more pleasant to work with. I know they're pretty similar.
Yeah it taught me basically the what itās for, why itās there and how it does itās work but little of how to use it XD
In short I managed to just use it enough to change YouTube videos around using JQuery and thatās it. We were meant to use it with canvas to have a product switcher but I felt a bit short of knowledge from that class.
The course basically assumes no prior knowledge though and there is more time for the programming and learning data structures than there was for the web element which admittedly weāre not there to become web designers but computer scientists, programmers, data analysts, etc.
It taught us through all the basics of C#, next year weāll be moving onto C++. JavaScript felt a bit rushed as though we didnāt have enough time to actually learn the language.

I guess I do... I prefer them at night when I want to watch the lightning flash... you know, if itās like a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night and I donāt have to worry about being screwed by a lack of sleep the following day. Thunder can be fun in the day time. Is the advice to turn off your PC during a storm still valid, even with surge protection?

True but there's always a chance he'll get impeached if not someone takes up your history of popping Presidents.We've got potentially five years of this mire, not to mention Brexit negotiations, because there is no way we're staying in the EU. At this stage we're past the point of no return. Only that whilst the negotiations should include all parties, having no majority doesn't make our negotiating position any stronger, regardless of how ambitious or naive it might've been in cases.
