I think I’ve ALWAYS been drawing... I can’t remember a time I didn’t... And uh I wasn’t a very popular child ... Mostly ignored or you know... One of those quiet kids in a corner, just wanting to be left alone. I didn’t really fit in anywhere. So drawing really helped me in a way, it gave me something to do and I LIKED it... And when I started WRITING stories, I started loving it, because I could shape the characters I created in my head on paper... It was such a wholesome thing to do for my heart, seeing them appear on the paper and just asdjfksdjf it’s hard to explain but yeah.... Basically I draw because I LOVE doing it so much. Despite my setbacks, despite my rocky ups and downs I still fall back to it every time again.
As for the decision I made on the ‘mon on this blog? Mmmh... Mitra was a given, she’s a growlithe and I ADORE that line. Always have. Since I was a little kid who first got yellow in her hands and marveled at the world of Pokémon. Never stopped loving that legendary fire dog. I just KNEW I needed to have one.
Scrafty I absolutely love too. They’re such fun designs to work with, and I just ended up deciding that yes, a scrafty would be in there too. Vibrava ( aka Solveig ) came out of nowhere, I just happened to go past some sketches I made and fell upon the vibrava design I made and just G A S PPE D . Cause in my head i saw this chipper and happy child, with lots of love in her heart. To end it all up I wanted something to counter Mitra a bit I guess? And I LOVE torracat’s design. So boom. Cayden was born. A bunch of random children thrown together kasdjfksdjff and I’m happy they’re so far enjoyed <3
