AH I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS (i wasnt sure if this was about all of the movie ships or just movie glacier so ive done both )

movie glacier - hhhhhhhOHMYGOF i love them so bad theyre everything to me theyre so silly i cant fully word what they are to me

opposite - GOSH theyre everything, the hot/cold fire/ice dynamics in media are so special to me movie opposite - theyre so popular jock x nerd i love i love i love

techno - TECHNO!!! TECHNO!!!! i LOVE the zane x anyone sciencey/inventory/techy its just MWAH theyre both interested in robotics in their own way i love it movie techno- ohg their interactions in the bloobers AH i live it their pining would be so shy and awkward

braincell- i am SO deep in my braincell hyperfixation. the nyad/ice emperor parallels. them both growing up feeling outcasted from the ninja (the only girl, not a human). nya being the one to patch zane up and the trust from that. the elements being so closely connected to the point they can manipulate each others. plus theyre such a hot couple. GOSH i could go on movie braincell- ‘me and the bad bitch i pulled by being autistic’ vibes, theyre jock x nerd but the jock is also a baddie

it's just Zane learning about that AFTER Julien is gone keeps me up at night C:

oh gosh imagine learning that after you left home your father figure/inventor made a whole ass replica of you because he missed you so much

obviously it would be bittersweet, knowing that he was missed THAT much but then the guilt of having left sets in, and then the “wait did he fucking replace me” moment

this is probably just my opinion but a man who defies the laws of nature not once but then a second time to create fully sentient android sons can’t be a fully moral/ethical person i dont think zane focuses on this too much, he was given life and he is grateful for it and doesn’t want to see him badly because that’s his father i think Echo hates Julien with all he has. if he wasnt already dead then E would’ve tried to speed that process up.

i dont think Julien treated echo very well, he tried to see him as his son but he wasnt Zane, so he grew further and further frustrated and resented Echo more as the days passed. having a fake zane made him feel lonelier than if he had actually been alone

Echo fully resents Julien and Zane, he was made only to be a failed stand-in for his older ‘brother’. I fully believe this is at least a factor in why he became Mr E and tried to kill Zane in season8

i LOVE the movie so much but in a way that i distance it from the original characters? like theyre the ninjas from ninjago but movie zane and show zane are two different people to me

movie zane feels very comedic relief and 2D, he isn’t their Friend Zane who happens to be a nindroid like in the show, hes their Nindroid Friend, Zane. hes more like what theyve done to dragons rising zane rather than our original beloved

i do absolutely adore movie zane but hes like show zanes weird cousin rather then zane in another plot hes just so silly i love him thats my boy

i do love everything about the movie and the characters, i love how the dynamics have shifted slightly with the characters and i do love how comedic it is (movie garmadon i fucking love you)

and Koko!!! the mother lloyd deserves her and garmadon were lowk hot together

oh and dont get me STARTED on movie glacier i have so many thoughts

yess he deserves to cause violence! i can't get over that he never got his own NAME. he was simply meant to be ZANE 😭😭

echo could tear apart an innocent civilian with his bare hands and i would be cheering him on (esp if that civilian is a certain older brother of his /aff)

he was always meant to be echo ZANE, he is quite literally an echo (similar to the original but always slightly lesser) of zane and his name is a permanent reminder of that
