John held his staff in both hands, and the ball in coal trapped inside burst to life, a great fire burning up from between the golden grate. It grew higher and higher, until it resembled a small beacon. John drive the other end of the staff into the earth, and pulled his hands away, dragging trails of fire with them, making his hands resemble small infernos. "Heh... any more than that, and it'll go all over the place."
'Woah!' Jack jumped back immediately, making sure to stay away instead of getting himself burned in any kind of way. He chuckled and gave the other one a smirk as he trailed his fingers through his white hair. 'Gotta say, that is kind of cool, but I bet'cha can't do cooler tricks than I can!' he said with another chuckle, placing his staff on his shoulder where he usually put it. Then he walked closer to the other one and tilted his head. 'Say, I didn't catch your name..?' He poked the other one with his staff carefully as he waited for a reply from the other one, a curious look on his face. 'Are you a supernatural being like I was before I became a guardian or something? I think I can guess that you bring the sun and warmth out.. Which makes you kind of my rival, not in a mean way of course.. And I already have a rival, the kangaroo, so yeah.'
