Just saw the thing about 小さな and 大きな, basically just use them when talking about ideas or intangible things
Hm I asked my Japanese friend about the one where it described the rainbow though and she said it was fine. Isn’t a rainbow technically tangible? I always thought ideas/intangible things were like “love” or "hate". I have heard that about those adjectives though.
I guess I’ll have to ask my sensei on this one when she gets back.

That ji is 時 and tera is 寺. 時 has a small 日 on the left, whereas 寺 does not. It’s easy to confuse the two!
Have you ever used Anki? If so, (or if not) would you ever consider (making a deck or two?) available for this blog's follower's to use? I think anki has been a really great way to stock up on vocab, but if put to proper use, it has a lot of potential.
Actually I have used Anki before! I know it has a lot of potential, but I think I didn't know how to use it well and stopped. I also got really lazy with using it diligently heh.. Instead I actually write out flashcards by hand for all of the vocab and kanji I post on my blog. I feel like it really sticks in your mind after you physically write it out, and it's also a lot more customizable for me.
Creating an Anki deck for this blog would sound great though! Unfortunately I don't know how to use it to its full potential and also don't really have the time, but if anyone else does that and wants to share that would be amazing ^^ Thanks for the idea!
