I think its super duper cute!! I’m not someone who’s super opinionated on ships (I have a longer list of ones I hate than ones I absolutely love lmao) but roxygen has always been really sweet to me, also the ship name “roxygen” itself is such a freakin cute pun so I’m partial to it because of that too lol. since I’m a spider8reath enjoyer as well I like to think John’s type in women are snarky girls who are unapologetically themselves (for the detriment of everyone else)

I get why he’s a relatively hated character in the fanbase, but honestly that’s why I like him. smartass characters are funny to me sometimes and he’s such a drama queen it makes me laugh. but I feel like he’s so watered down as a whiny loser (as most characters are) among fans, and people don’t realize that he’s kinda badass! yeah kanaya beat the total shit out of him in his whole murder spree but the panels of him doing his magicky shit are honestly some of my favorites because of how cool they look.

like with most of the other trolls, I really wish we got to see his character develop some more. but oh well. here’s a little sketch I made of him just now because I don’t think I’ve drawn him in the past year.
