CID: it’s like getting a face-full of chemical burns. even after Eight broke me free my face still hurt for days after. not to mention the migraines... it wasn’t even like i was being told what to do, more like he plugged himself right into my brain and was dumping code into it.

Have you seen a doctor or something about still being an Octoling Pilot?
PILOT: the short answer: yes, but they dont know what to do. i had a lot of physicals done and biologically i’m still an Inkling, just kinda... um. stuck looking like this. i’m not really sure how to feel about that!
PILOT: this has never happened before, so there’s no cure for it yet. and there might not ever be. im starting to get used to it but i missed last Splatfest because i wasnt sure if anything weird would happen to me, haha.
