how many times have u read the book? am currently trying to decide on a reread.
Too many to count. Iâm constantly doing a reread. Iâm never not in the middle of a reread. I have the book constantly open. Iâm going insane.
I find that the book gets sadder with each reread. When I read the book for the first time, I didnât cry until the âMy poor Judeâ speech right at the end. But now? Every little scene makes me misty-eyed because now I know.
Whatâs more is that with each reread you notice more little details that you mightâve missed the first time around. Not only details, but you find a deeper understanding of each scene, each character, each line, and you can better spot parallels between them (there are so many parallels in ALL) because you know the full story now. Sometimes a reread will leave you understanding more, sometimes a reread will leave you with more questions.
So I would very much recommend a reread. A book like this deserves one.
