To the writer: What Disney character is your Rikat character closer too in terms of similarity?
For Indras and Pipsqueak (I havenât busted Pip out in a while and I kind of miss him)!
Indras (in order of least to most similar):
Pocahontas (Pocahontas): Specifically two songs. Just Around the Riverbend as her attitude towards life and the way she acknowledges that the galaxy is constantly shifting and her willingness to learn and adapt. And Colors of the Wind which goes some way to describing how she feels as a Force Sensitive who sees the galaxy in a very different way to the rest of her family.
Vanellope von Schweetz (Wreck-it Ralph): A fantastic racer whoâs got driving âin her codeâ. Who can also be really obnoxious (ask Maerius and Kad). And for those who were around to see her with the tank might see some similarities here.
Kristoff Bjorgman (Frozen): She doesnât trust people outside her family easily and she does have a fair amount of lingering cynicism. And sheâs quite open about the fact that, even though she loves them, most of the members of Rikat areâŚless than stable, and a bit nosy and pushy, not unlike the Trolls.
Megara (Disneyâs Hercules):
Well, thereâs the hips, for one thing. I wouldnât say that Indras walks that way, necessarily, but she does occasionally put a little extra sway into her walk, and itâs not far off.
"Iâm a damsel, Iâm in distress. I can handle it." Sums Indrasâ attitude towards her problems up pretty nicely. She prefers to handle her problems alone. Especially if they are problems which donât (in her view) involve the clan. Like paying for her motherâs medical bills, or her own Force-related health issues.
How she handles her feelings and getting close to people (Ahem). That is to say, badly. Sheâs a bit resistant to it, for what she feels like are perfectly good reasons. And sheâs not totally wrong, the reasons she thinks she has are valid ones. Iâm just not sure they apply to the situations she tries to apply them to, necessarily.
Finally, her willingness to make sacrifices to take care of the people she cares about.
Abu (Aladdin) and Djali (The Hunchback of Notre Dame): The sidekick with attitude, a penchant for illegal activity and also headbutting.
