"I think it may be some sort of nature tribe," Eckhardt announces as he eyes the leaf-looking tattoo on his shoulder. In truth, it resides on the opposite side of the Earth Tribe rune, and actually belongs to the Water Spirit— but he’ll learn that someday. At the question of their intent, he looks up and blinks. A particular goal..? Inclining his head thoughtfully, the tom-cat lowers himself into a seated position and slips gradually into a relaxed crouch, pondering the inquiry. “I suppose not,” he ventures, though the words aren’t very convincing. For a longer minute he considers the question, before finally grinning and shrugging. “If there is a goal here, we’ll learn it soon enough - but rest assured, it is no plot of our own devising.”

Flexing his claws, the tom-cat stretches out with a low sound of contentment, cocking his head towards the tribe cat. “Well,” he drawled, eyes roving over the stranger’s figure; “I look just how you see me.” Grinning crookedly, he flicks his tail to bring attention to his own pelt; darkly coloured with lighter tabby markings. “As for that,” he grumbles in regard to the question of his tribe, turning a furrowed brow to the rune splayed over his left shoulder. “I haven’t got the foggiest, hm?” The gray barely stands out among his monochrome fur, but to him, it looks like a leaf. With that in mind, he’ll come to think he’s heading to Earth Tribe, and honestly it’s a welcome thought that he gets used to. When he discovers it’s actually the mark of the Water Spirit— well, that day will come.At the question of his character, the rogue barks a laugh. “Let’s see, then! I’m loyal and innovative, and quite the huntsman. Not to mention all-around virtuous and helpful.” Whether or not someone will glean his self-confidence from the reply is up to the attentiveness of the listener. “As for bad traits…” Releasing a heavy sigh, the tom admits, “I supposed I’m a little hopeless without my better half. Really, Florian’s as much a part of me as my left leg; I would stumble and fall on my face without either of them.” With a low, chuffing laugh, he sprawls out once more on his stone perch and stretches. “Has your curiosity been sated?” he asks curiously, ears pricked up as he peers at the tribe cat from his upside-down vantage point.
