I have noticed that u like and probably shipps mikannie, i don’t shipp it but i like their dynamics, but i haven’t read the manga and neither seen the s4 part2 but i always said to my friend that their rivalty was always a little sus to me because they don’t have a real motive to hate each other and this pretty much came out of nowhere and there’s this psychological thing that when you hate a lot something deep down you probably like it, so i always thought that Mikasa and Annie probably like each other, not just platonic but i doesn’t think it was romantically either, it was more like i feel attracted to you and want to make out w you but i don’t wanna accept it so i’ll just pretend i hate u, after i saw the pictures and spoiler of that episode which they had a lot of interactions these headcanon of mine has a lot of chances of being true i think? i just thought you would like it these and also had to discuss w someone too, everytime i remember this happened even without me knowing it makes me giggle
Yes, I do shipp MikaAnnie a little too hard.
That's a result of me being a part of the older fandom (I watched the 1 season when it came out and read the manga as it was releasing). At that time, we never really saw chemistry between characters (which was odd, because almost every anime inserts a main shipp early on). The first couple we see strong hints is Ymir and Historia (which later is confirmed by the author) and when Mikasa and Annie started having a rivals-to-lovers vibe the fandom went WILD! I still remember the shipp wars with the EreMika stans.
So yeah, I shipp MikaAnnie mainly because of my old days in the fandom and because they have nice chemistry in their interactions. I find it so funny because they never really had any reason to hate one another, and I completely agree that if you dislike someone for no reason maybe there's a little denial happening. People usually believe that Mikasa disliked Annie because she would beat the sh*t out of Eren sometimes, but it's never explicitly stated that's the reason for their rivarly.
We were fed in this recent season, because although the interactions between were not intended to be romantic, the chemistry is strong!! Like, look at the way Mikasa holds and comforts Annie, it's such an unusual display of affection and it makes me blush! Also, there is something so interesting about two strong and badass women together.
In my delusional head, Mikasa and Annie become endgame. I like AruAnnie, I think it's cute, but my MikaAnnie days are still going strong.

i read your LGBTQIA+ hcs of the scouts and i want to say that my hcs are almost the exact of yours, i always have been analyzing all aot characters w details trying to get hints or anything, especially w arumika, i think armin would always been knowing about the community and always thought the possibility he liking all genders, and for Mikasa i think she would be bi w a big preference for girls, a lot of people would not agree w this but she has a lot of hints of being sapphic in the show, also she doesn’t really have chemistry w any other male characters, at first she would think she is straight but a big ally because of armin and after she would be like what if i like girls because she always feel attracted but never noticed, she would came to armin and sasha to help her out and they would definitely help and she would start acknowledging she is a sapphic and labed herself as bi
Yes, I agree with you completely! Mika gives off strong bi vibes. She does have little chemistry in general because the canonverse is really not focusing on romantic relationships, but there are a few scenes between her and annie (even with historia and sasha) that really makes you think "okay, that's kinda sus". People usually see her as straight just because she is in love with eren in the show and that's not cool! Bissexual people can still love the opposite gender and this doesn't erase the fact they're still bi.
And yes, Armin would be the kind of person to not give a f*** about gender. Armin is really smart, naturally, knowing about the lgbtqia comunity is just like reading another book. Armin definetly helps Mika with her own queerness but also learns a lot with her. I loved when you said that Mika and Armin would come out to one another, they have such a beautiful friendship.

I agree that Mikasa and Armin are pretty similar but they also are really different if you know what i mean i think Armin is more cautious with his actions, words and showing emotions while Mikasa is a little impulsive and with passion, i love they friendship though and i think sometimes they would hangout hidden from Eren to have a chill moment since Eren talk too much and is a little annoying
Mikasa being a little impulsive is something so true! Probably because it's really hard to intimidate her when she is so strong and has quick reflexes. Armin, on the other hand, relies too much on his brain to compensate for his physical limitations and that makes him way more cautious. I like to think they complete each other when needed.
And yes, they definetly hide from Eren when he is being a little sh*t. I know for sure they hid from IMMA-KILL-ALL-TITANS-Eren-Jaeger constantly during their pre-teen years. They love Eren, but sometimes that little crazy boy can be too intense.
