Yeah, as you say in the scale Hades and Persephone were probably the least gross/problematic of the godly relationships/marriages--looks at zeus and hera who were BROTHER AND SISTER as well as married. Maybe Chad told Cinderella about how scared he was when Audrey locked him in the closet and then how when he was finally let out there was this "scary looking dude who was laughing like a crazy person! And I think he was holding some kind of weird hook looking thingy?!"

And while Chad was running away too fast to pay much attention to what else he looked like. Cinderella has suspicions of just who that boy was, or more accurately, whose son that boy was.

I like to imagine that at some point, relatively soon after D3, someone writes an article on what all happened during the time Audrey had Maleficent's scepter. And since they helped, plus maybe as a way to get more positive publicity for VKs, it features the Sea Three and has pictures of them.

So, a few weeks after the Audrey scepter mess, Charming is reading the article one mourning at breakfast and Chad, who's at home because of all that happened, looks over and sees Harry's picture and goes, "That's him! That's crazy laughing, guy!" And when Cinderella looks, her suspicions are confirmed that it was Hook's son. Hook's son was near her own son, and that scares her.

I think it'd be pretty plausible for Cinderella to think that the 'laughing incident' was somehow Harry's way, maybe Hook's way even, of taunting her. Even though (1) neither Hook nor Harry knew she was the reason Beast knew where to look for Hook in the first place. (2) Harry didn't know who Chad was. He just thought it was funny, and well, he was right.

So, it wouldn't be out of the question for the years between D3 and RoR for Cinderella to have thought that Hook, and even if he was 'manipulating' them, his kids were waiting to get revenge for what she did. And come RoR, it's Bridget, who's the one who gets revenge, aka justice for her family.

The part with Harry and Chad in the cottage has been in my head for a while, but the other stuff seemed to work with what we've come up with. Sorry this is so long.

Okay, so I know this backstory has been fitted in pretty much for Hookheart shippers only. But it MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!

Even if Harry was taken away from Bridget at age three, it's not out of this world that Hook would have told the Hooklings that their mother used to be friends with cinderella in high school over the years on the Isle. And because he wants to be honest with his kids about how he and their mother got together. He would also tell them that ella and Bridget had a falling out when he and she started dating, which left Bridget pretty broken up.

So when Harry finds out that Chad is cinderlla's son it would be the 'your mom broke my mom's heart so you'll get no friendship from me' all over again.

This may make me evil, but I kinda like the thought of deep down cinderella fearing that one day either hook or his kids would come for revenge on her. She tells herself that there's no way they can know it was her who 'snitched.' But that doesn't stop the niggling fear in the back of her mind.

But in a way...it's almost poetic that it was actually Bridget who killed her in the end. Because out of all of them, cinderella probably never worried about Bridget. But what she didn't know was she should have.

She was the catalyst in creating the bigger monster Bridget became by tipping things off to take her family so how fitting that she died from the monster she created.

Oh the deleted song from Wish? Yeah that is so Hookedheart! In a 'only caring about each other and their kids' kind of way.

Also from Hook's perspective 'I wanna see them bow in humility' in his eyes Bridget was born to have people bow to her. She's a Queen, she's his Queen they should bow. She deserves it far more than those "goody pretender heroes" in fact they should be bowing to!

(Side note we were totally robbed of having a villain couple in a Disney movie there!)

When they were little, the Jolly Roger, Bridget's bakery, and Hook's shop were covered in drawings the kids did ranging from pictures of family members, sea creatures, lots of different types of hearts, and pirate ships.

But the most common drawings were battle scenes where the Hooklings killed Beast, Peter Pan, people dressed in Auradon blue and yellow, Frollo, and some lady with blue hair.

The Hooklings all incorporate hearts into their looks. Harriet has five small black hearts on her pirate hat and a black heart necklace with a sword going through it. This has earned her the name "Blackheart Harriet".

Harry has a broken heart design on his red jacket and half of a broken heart necklace that Uma has the other half of.

CJ has a skull and crossbones with heart eyes on the back of her jacket and a necklace with heart charms on a chain that resembles barbed wire.

Red has her canon look, but on the back of her jacket, there's a hook going through the hearts, and she also wears necklaces with skull and pirate ship charms.

Whenever the Hooklings are mad or annoyed at each other, they call each other by ridiculous variations of their full names.

Or, there could always be an au where Iracebeth is still alive and just chose to abdicate the throne to Bridget when she got older. So Red has a grandma, who, while yes, still homicidal like her mom, her grandma will talk gossip with her and teach her card tricks.

And if Iracebeth was still alive she'd of course, remember her older grandkids and Hook, and all the pain it caused Bridget when they were taken, so I think she would definitely approve of the AP coup.

No pressure! Just a random thought.

...I hate to say it, but I don't see her being that good of a grandmother. I mean, yes she may have a few days where she and Red would sit and gossip over tea. But ultimately, I think Iracebeth just became too mentally unstable to have decent relationships. She's probably quite bitter and jealous that Harriet got named after Mirana. Because you know Mirana raised Bridget more than she ever did, but she'll never admit that. Red would likely be her 'favorite' since she looks the most like her/Bridget and because of her middle name being Elizabeth.

She traumatized Bridget growing up, and she would likely add to Red's trauma.

As you say, probably the only thing she'd approve of Bridget doing is the coup. As it's bloody and people will likely die.

What if once they're ready to leave Merlin Academy and go home, instead, the watch transports them to the Isle a year or two before D1 happens?

You know how the watch is supposed to show you the thing your heart wants most? Well, since Red has now seen both of her parents together and happy when they were young, the watch is now showing Red what she's now wanted most since learning the truth and then seeing her parents together for herself.

The thing she wants most is for her whole family to be alive. Because she and Chloe are still in the past, Red still thinks the future version of her dad and siblings are dead. I know I'm really stretching things here, but let's pretend that the watch doesn't work again until the user sees the thing their heart wants most.

So, after trying the watch a bunch of times with no success, they start walking around and end up overhearing someone saying something like, "Hook is at Ursula's, so we should be safe." I know Harry is probably more like to be referred to as Harry Hook or just Harry, but again stretching.

Red hears that, and even though she knows it's a long shot, it gives her hope, so once she finds out where the Chip Shop is and makes it clear to Chloe that she needs to know, they head there. Even though they've had fights, neither of them are dumb enough to split up on the Isle of the Lost of all places.

You can imagine the surprise when they get to the restaurant and 'Hook' is a teenage boy about their age. A teenage boy who looks suspiciously familiar, who's wearing a red jacket the exact same shade as Red's own jacket, who appears to be the only person in the restaurant with an accent, and who just so happens to have a hook placed right by his food tray.

Red is going to have another breakdown. That's not even mentioning Harriet, CJ, and older Hook (pretend that he can't recognize her from the past because of time travel shenanigans) yet.

Red finding out that her family has been alive this entire time, but they live like this?! Yeah, the chaos of the Isle is fun for a while, but to be trapped there for years?! And then Chloe is having a breakdown when she finds out that her mom really did do that, and then when she meets Dizzy is the last person who should be on the Isle.

Also, since Red and Chloe probably had multiple stakeouts at Ursula's, I choose to believe that they get to see the original version of What's My Name, since that is a common occurrence in the restaurant.

Something else that I could totally see happening.

"Wait...Rose? Red Rose?" he says softly. Harry may have been three back then but he does know three things. 1 his mother was a redhead last he saw her. 2 his mother was pregnant when he was last with her and 3 if the baby was a girl she was going to called Rose. So a red haired teen showing up whose also claiming his father is her father? Harry would click on pretty quickly. But oh geez Red seeing Harriet and CJ as well! Chloe be prepped to catch her!

Also Red and Chloe staking out and seeing the OG What's My Name is awesome!
