Questions

1. Do you sleep with any stuffed animals?

I do actually! I have Maxine this dog...bear...thing that I've had since I was a wee lass, probably ever since I came home from the hospital when I was born. One of my parents' friends hand made it for me, and it's one of my most treasured possessions because she's always been there for me no matter what. she's held up remarkably well for being almost two decades old fabric and cotton stuffing though. Maxine used to be Maxwell, and I can't recall for the life of me why it was originally named that, but when I was about 7 or 8 I went "fuck it this dog is a girl now" and I changed the name to Maxine. She's sitting in my room now because I didn't want anything to happen to her while I was at college.

2. Do you use an alarm clock still?

Lol I have no way to get up otherwise! On some rare occasions I get up riiiight before my alarm goes off, somewhere between ten and thirty minutes before it goes off, and so I put the reasoning behind that for school and the Pavlovian conditioning of getting up at 6am to get ready and all that jazz. Now I think my internal alarm clock is set to wake me up around 8 or 9, and again I blame classes, but because my sleeping schedule is so messed up, I have to set an alarm or I won't wake up till noon haha.

3. What are you aspirations for your future beyond not being in debt?

I really REALLY want to be an animator for Dreamworks. I love their movies and I love their style of animation, it's different and colorful and takes chances, unlike Disney. Don't get me wrong Disney makes some beautiful and touching movies...But the movies they advertise a shit ton like in the parks and on TV and stuff...It's all old news to me. It's all the same stuff and Disney seems very set in it's ways. Its very comfortable with the truckloads of money it makes from the parks combined with the revenue of movies and not to mention the merchandising. 

I think, after being an animator, I'd still want to have something to do with animation. Hopefully something involving physics? Hell, I could even write the programs for the animation, do all the math that makes light reflect off certain surfaces, do the light scattering over skin that makes it look so real (like when you shine a light through your fingers and you can see red? that shit is the coolest and it's ALL PHYSICS) and make it look so nice on screen. Even if I couldn't get a job in the animation department, if I took that path and got some kind of degree in computer programming, I could program all the things that go into making machines work, for movies and practical effects. Like those squirrels from the Charlie and the Chocolate factory remake? That wasn't CGI that was a tiny robot covered in squirrel fur. I could do that. yeeee

4. Whats your favorite outfit, or outfit that makes you feel badass?

I don't have an outfit that makes me feel really badass, but I do have this one leather (or pleather, I can't really tell) that I put on when it's cold, and with my beat up converse, the right pair of jeans, a dark shirt and my eyeliner game on point, I think I can look pretty intimidating.

Other than that I don't really have a specific outfit that I like to wear that makes me feel like i could take down 10,000 Persian troops with 300 Spartans.

5. Describe your perfect dinner

I think my perfect dinner would be whatever I'm in the mood for I guess? I'm always in the mood for penne pasta, but not when it's drenched in this heavy as fuck sauce that just takes away all the fun of pasta. So let's see...penne with some of this wine that my aunt gets me sometimes, it's really good and doesn't even taste like wine it's tastes like ginger ale BUT BETTER AND SWEETER BUT NOT TOO SWEET and it's so good. If I could drink that for the rest of my life I would. All that and maybe a really soft, like partially cooked cookie or something for dessert, like it's kinda crispy on the bottom and outside but the inside is just melted chocolte chips and partially cooked cookie dough and hnnnnng

6. coke or pepsi?

Coke definitely. but that may just be because it's the only diet drink at the mess hall that doesn't taste like seltzer water with splenda mixed in.

7. Would you ever do drugs? If yes, what kinds?

I'm not interested in any of the hard core stuff because that'd just be dumb, and I'm an asthmatic so I don't think smoking pot would help my lungs be better at their job of breathing clean air xD

8. Your favorite outdoor activity?

Oooo that's a tough one. I gotta say, I love riding my bike around, but since I'm in Florida you either bike on incredibly soft dirt roads, or on hot asphalt around the neighborhood then after a while my butt hurts and I have to go home. I think though, even though I don't do it much, I love to swim. At the beach, in the pool, at the inlet a short drive from my house. But I can't go to the inlet much anymore because it got super nasty and dangerous when all the poor and homeless went there to bathe (in the ocean for some reason) and nobody could really stop them because it was public property. So it got super nasty and crowded and...yuck.

Yeah I thnk my favorite outdoor activity would be swimming because i can chill on my back and admire the wildlife or dive to the bottom and check out the sand (or concrete base) or just fuck around in waist high waters or if I'm at the beach I can just get carried by the waves, it's so nice.

9. Favorite video game and why you like it so much?

Oh no another tough one! D: I'd have to say it's a mix between Heavy Rain and Portal 2. I really loved Heavy Rain because it took you through the story of these people trying to solve a murder case, it wasn't super fast paced and it gave me time to figure things out, while also making scenes where I was on the edge of my seat trying not to lose my grip on things because the tension was so high. The only downside was the damn controls were so frustrating because it was realistic in the sense that if you ran into a wall the character would just. stop. moving.

I loved Portal 2 because I love puzzle games, they're the reason I started playing games in the first place, and everything about Portal 2 was so clever and well thought out. I loved the story, I loved the characters, I loved how they used the coincidence that the voice of GlaDoS was also an opera singer and Valve was too lazy to go find a voice for Caroline that they just used GlaDoS', and the sass is definitely the icing on the cake for that. Everything about that game is perfect, except it was too short, and I got dizzy from all the FPS and switching perspectives when jumping through portals.
