         For once, Doris was actually content with being out. Relieved from the self immured solace she kept herself in. The recent events of Aversio sent doubts to hound her and plague her thoughts. Did she make the right decision ?? Sometimes she still heard the screams pound against her skull in the lone hours of the night. Whose were they ?? She didn't know. 

         Even more surprising, she was able to convince Sirius to join her. Being open to most, once upon a time, Doris easily understood their motives. Their emotions. -- War changed a great deal of things, including ones own heart. However, she discovered a sort of peculiar comfort in the other. Whatever it may be, she enjoyed his company and she knew that something was eating at him. Beckoning more impulse than usual. Perhaps they both needed a tether, something to console them. Or perhaps Doris would much rather focus on anything other than herself. 

          A muggle pub --- one she knew of thanks to her mother. As of late, she preferred the trivial ongoings of muggles. Events spoken she knew little of. No wanted posters in sight. Nothing that revealed that a war was raging around them. And whether Sirius wanted to or not, this was where they would perch. 

           Eyes flickered in his direction as they sat towards the back. Dimly lit and quiet, it brought peace to Doris’ ever wandering mind. ‘Sirius --- ‘ she spoke, ‘I know you’re worried about your friend. But, if there’s one thing I know -- from what you’ve told me -- he’s going to be fine. I promise.’ 

         { ♚ };  He won’t deny that sweet thrill which                      makes his skin tingle with pleasure.                      Was she finally succumbing to him?                      Has he finally won her over with his                      impeccable mannerisms and honesty?

                                                            “Are you sure about this, Elsa?”                                                              He manages to control himself,                                                             forcing his voice to be soft and                                                             delicate. “We don’t have to do this.                                                             I don’t want you to regret anything. Ever.”

         Was she sure? Of course she wasn't sure. However, something          compelled her to say these words and she couldn't stop the next          words that escaped her lips. Was it love? Lust? What was it that          compelled her to open her mouth?
