Yes, thinking about Blindsprings makes me nostalgic too.

But isn't it funny how at first we readers hated his guts (for understanable reasons) but then as the story went on we gained at least a bit respect towards him?

I find Asher's character compelling. This gold digger (I don't take any criticism, he got married to his first wife because her family's wealth) turned into a prime minister is one of my favorite Blindsprings characters.

He is a flawed character, due to everything he did in the past. But he cares about his children in what is a definitely not ideal way, the prejudices about Orphics are deeply ingrained in him due the complicated history in Abwerelle, society and etc.

There has been talk between the readers that most likely Asher will end up assasinated. And considering how things have been getting more tense in the story, yeah I wouldn't be surprised. It'd be a very fitting end for Asher in my opinion.

And we know for sure that Lumens plans a coup.

So if Lumens will manage to successfully overthrow the government Asher at best will end up arrested and at worse dead.

I am not gonna lie, I'd just just get rid of Master Lumens in Asher's place, because there is no way I'd let him live after EVERYTHING he has done, especially after saying bs about eliminating all orphics including my own flesh and blood???

The truth is even if Asher wanted to get rid off Lumens he wouldn't be able to do it already, he can't exile him back nor he can't kill him. Because good luck trying to harm a man with a bunch of living weapons mass destructions that are under his control. You can't poison him because his Gravers most likely will be able to heal him with magic, nor can he be assasinated.

And these tags differ. Asher Thorne has pages where Asher is all about responsibility and beign proper academist, Prime Minister and etc.

In the Asher tag there are pages where he behaves and is a lot of uh... Human and adequately?

This all was clearly done on purpose by Kadi. Although neither of these tags contain the pafes where Asher talks to Lottie after Imogen's disappearance. In idea it should be in Asher tag.

It's funny how Asher ignores Giselle, his second proper wife, but pays attention to his first Orphic wife, arrested by him. He watches her and they are holding her hand, even so she is on her back, hidden behind Asher, unlike Giselle who is next to her and is perfectly visible. Is that her relationship with his wife? He does not care so much about Giselle but he takes her to official events and is his first lady, being an academic socialite unlike Lady Torstenn, a proud Orphic, who he cares more about but is hidden from the public (even from his own daughters) possibly due to pressure from academics. I wonder where she is, according to Asher's bibliography, he sent her to prison but he does not specify the exact location or type of jail for her. Also the way Asher takes hold of her, it seems somewhat possessive to me, almost as if he was holding her. Will he hold her in a place where he has free access and can watch over her?
