✿...just because I'm curious about these two xD.
It had been going on for a while now. Unexpected, yes, but it sort of went into place. Neither of them suspected it, that’s for sure. It was one hangout, just sort of a…peace agreement. Then…it turned into two. They began owling each other and going to another’s house—Draco could only take two visits for hers through a good time span in-between.
Occasionally, it would get so late Ginny would just end up crashing on the couch. He was bugged by it at first but he grew form forcing himself to accept it, to finding it so natural.
One day in particular, it wasn’t one of those days. It caught him off guard when she shot up from the couch, looking at the clock and putting her blanket over after getting comfortable just sharing stupid stories with eachother for hours.
“What? What is it?” He asked, eyebrows knitting together. this was new.
“I have work tomorrow. Sorry, I didn’t know it was this late. This time I need to head back.” She said, grabbing her jacket and slipping it on. She gave him a nice smile, “Thank you.” She nodded and headed for the door but he shot up and grabbed her wrist.
“Wait—hold on.” He said and she turned to him in confusion.
“Er—what?” She blinked. "Draco I got to go. We can talk later like we always do. Maybe tomorrow. Oh! I hear there's a new episode too, we could watch that....Draco...your hand...it's still on my wrist."
He stood there frozen, hand still lightly on her wrist before he leaned over and dared himself to kiss her cheek softly. He grinned slightly before pulling back a little. “Thank you.” he said for the first time, giving her a smile then releasing her and waving his hand. “Ok—go. You have work and stuff.”
She looked baffled and red before she opened and closed her mouth. Finally, she turned around and went for the doorknob, throwing a smile over her shoulder before leaving.
