Meet Leigh Roar
Attention Span Garb recently brought on a couple of apprentices and one of those is Leigh Roar. She is focusing on leather work in the Stylings of Will Carson. She has made one of his modular strap work designs. Is most the way through a corset and has spent most of this week making an assortment of Horror masks for this weekend’s Crypticon Seattle. She is wonderfully goofy, loves costuming, and has been greatly enjoying adding leather to the list of materials she can work with. Tonight we were invited as guests to the Conservation Catwalk, at the UW in Seattle, and she got to walk the runway as a special guest sporting clothing made by another artist represented by ASGarb, Kelsey Lovelle.
We’re Back from the Quiet
We’ve been quiet the last few weeks, but we’re back to make some noise. We recently picked up 2 leather apprentices and Will has been working on a Vash the Stampede cosplay to launch his Rivets and Cosplay series (Pics of that should happen this weekend). Will will be at the Conservation Catwalk this evening and then doing fire fleshings at their after party. Attention Span will be at #crypticon this weekend. And Leigh (one of the new apprentices) will be debuting a line of horror masks this weekend at Crypticon. More to come.

This isn't an item that ASG carries but I wanted to share something else that Lupa makes that is freaking amazing. I got to see this while down at the last Orycon and it won an award in the art show and everything was magical. Incase the link title didn't give it away... She totally made a Tauntaun... From Start Wars... Like everyone's favorite sleeping bag. Have I kicked the dead horse enough with that one? Anyway, go check out Lupa's amazing work, and sift through the rest of her portfolio on the site.
