The Felberg Isles are undergoing a long, drawn-out war at the hands of The General that threatens the stability of Aeln as a whole. Still, l
Happy Monday, folks, and welcome back! With our main character showcase out of the way, we can get into some fun nitty gritty worldbuilding until our launch in a month! Yes, in a month! March 28th! We’ll make sure to link when the time comes, don’t worry.
As we mentioned a few weeks ago, the Isles’ calendar (and the one we’ll be measuring time in) is a 336 day, 13 month calendar based on the phases of the two moons (seen above! Hi gals!) Gale (she/her) and her daughter, Wuna. The months are 28 days each, start with the beginning of spring, and number through the end of winter, with one exception: the 13th month overlaps!
Every thirteen months, a Foxhunt occurs. The two moons are eclipsed, and the Isles are cast into dim daylight and deeper nights for the entirety of the month. This is colloquially referred to as the god, Foxel (he/they) (who is represented by Foxhunt) ‘eating the moon’ and dampening the power of whichever god his month overtakes.
The ‘standard’ calendar and the gods represented therein are as follows, in order of their appearance on the calendar:
Shard: Shard (she/her), goddess of fate, destiny, and new beginnings
Friztye: Fritz (he/him), god of spring, storms, and competitions
Galena: Gale (she/her), goddess of the larger moon and wind
Mirja: Mirjana (she/her), goddess of forests and roads
Rist: Ristias (he/him), god of summer, the sun, and healing
Emerades: Emery (any), god of crafts and medicine
Taire: Lyetaia (she/her), goddess of agriculture and harvest
Oshmat: Oshmirat (he/him), god of autumn and assorted crafts
Weller: Roswell (they/them), god of law and unexpected visitors
Capricious: Caprifel (he/they), god of revelry, travelers, and bets
Ermine: Jermaine (he/him), god of winter and the dead
Wouren: Woura (she/her), goddess of death and magic
And then there’s Foxhunt: Foxel (he/they), god of the Wilds and new moons.
Thanks for sticking around through all of that! As thanks, here’s a fun Aelnian zodiac quiz Finn made a while back: https://uquiz.com/vHqbxd
Next week, we’ll talk more about some day to day life in the Felberg Alliance! See you then!

Hey folks! Wow, it's October already- spooky season for sure! Finn and Eyedinn are hard at work on comic stuff.
As we stated earlier, this comic is going to be mostly based off of a game of 5e that Finn runs. How? Transcription! We've been recording every session for posterity, because as difficult as transcription can be sometimes, we feel it not only preserves the personalities of the characters better, but keeps in some choice dialogues we wouldn't remember this far in. There are, still, going to be plenty of scenes Finn will be writing wholesale- but a lot of his writing happens in realtime with the game itself. So far, we have some rough script of the prologue, transcript for part of Act 1, and model sheets for the four main characters. Who are they? Well, keep following to find out more!
