How do they plan on finding out if someone is “committing asexual acts” ? Are we just gonna have government officials spying on people? Also, what about single people? What about people who are waiting until marriage? They really haven’t thought this through

I learned the shape of love before I felt it—

Love—something staged in patterns I repeat

Loving—the role I slip in, piece by bit

As if acting out a thing incomplete

Little conversation hearts slip into script

In gestures passed like language, soft and small

Love needed to exist, not be equipped

Until it felt like nothing strange at all.

But what feeling should follow after it?

How about now—our curtain left un-cued,

I feel misplaced, trying to make it fit,

A scene where any hint of love’s subdued
