hahaha! i like steampunk. it allows people to express themselves in a way that differs from the norm. though i see where you're coming from as it can be problematic in the way it ignore the past and is another white dominated subculture
I'm all for cosplay and such and I agree it's a great way to express yourself but when detrimental behaviour comes out of it, like women being called 'harlots' and black people called 'dogs' and 'animals' in order to be historically accurate, that's when I log out of that sub culture.
