Asada is a grilled flank steak that has been marinated and is full of flavor, with just the right amount of citrusy and savory notes. This BBQ treat is great for parties and feasts outside.
Ingredients: 1.5 lbs flank steak. 1/4 cup olive oil. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1/4 cup fresh lime juice. 2 tablespoons orange juice. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1 teaspoon chili powder. 1 teaspoon paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. Fresh cilantro for garnish.
Instructions: Soy sauce, orange juice, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl with a whisk. Put the flank steak in a plastic bag that can be closed again and again, and pour the marinade over it. Put the bag in the fridge for at least two hours, or better yet, overnight for the best results. Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Take the flank steak out of the marinade and let the extra marinade run off. Grill the steak for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until it's done the way you like it. Before cutting the steak across the grain, let it rest for 5 minutes. Add fresh cilantro on top and serve hot. Have fun with your tasty Carne Asada BBQ Delight!
