• Selfie is from yesterday (my mom wanted to see a pic of me with my lovely new Adult Person Purse so I obliged; thank goodness I did this today and not after tonight, when my most recent selfies will all be of me dressed as an 80′s lady-wrestler in all the spandex/sequins I can get my hands on :D :’D)

I actually want to take a minute to talk about your reviews on chapter 7, because that’s another important thing and I’m glad you picked up on it :D
I think Rose’s reaction to this scene versus the Doctor making that offer to the Master is really what highlights the difference between them. Because the Doctor also made that offer in canon, after he was the one who was tortured for a year (and I’m sure he was tortured. No way he wasn’t).
But if it had been just Rose, without the Doctor here, she absolutely would not have made any such offer. Because while the Doctor felt a sense of duty to the Master, and maybe even could have forgiven him for the Year That Never Was, Rose never could. There’s a part of her that will continue to hate the Master and will never really get over it -- if I had continued and gotten to Missy, Rose was totally going to slap her. And the Doctor wouldn’t have stopped her.
Rose is still human, though, for all her biological changes. She’ll never really be able to let the Year go. And yeah, if given the chance, she really might have shot the Master, because he’s the monster under her bed in so many ways. And she needs peace.
The Doctor might be able to get over that kind of trauma. But Rose can’t.

Can I just say that I love that Rose contacted (or tried) Donna, Martha and Sarah Jane to tell them that the Master was returning in AJTT (ch5)? It's a thing that the Doctor would never do (and didn't do), but it's so Rose... Brilliant, really! Now I'm very curious to see them meeting the Master. I hope he doesn't gloat about torturing Rose or something like that.
So you’ve been reviewing a lot, and I’m working on posting them all I swear XD But I wanted to take a minute to zero in on this one because Rose trying to contact Donna, Martha, and Sarah Jane was, IMO, one of the most important changes I made in this episode. Because it is so very much a Rose thing -- she’s in danger, she’s facing the man who tortured her for years, and what does she do? She calls everyone who might be in danger to let them know. Especially Martha, who also suffered because of the Master. If anyone deserved a warning, it was her. So yeah, that change was very important to me and I’m glad you commented it ^.^
