Favorite Male Character: Lt. Felix Gaeta. My little broken rebel. So human in all respects, one that made lots of messed-up choices as well as saved lives times and times again, became a cripple, lost his best friend, fostered slaughter of the government, and sang tragic songs to his absent leg in the emptiness of the sick-bay... Yeah, not a flinch my fave.
Favorite Female Character: Kara "Starbuck" Thrace. I kinda came to terms with the anti-climatic "revelation" of what she was in the end (what was she anyway) but I really rooted for her and yelled at her and loathed her and cried painful tears for her, and there ain't many characters who make me feel all those things single-handedly.
Favorite Het Ship: Kara/Leoben. And I totally don't see it as twisted or creepy or whatever. He was (up to a certain point) the only one who saw inside of her, who could motivate her and instill her with hope and faith... and when there's an erotic dream-sequence involving white paint your argument is forever invalid. Of course, he kept her captive for 4 months and tried to force her to love him but he was a Cylon for gods' sake.
Favorite Slash Ship ( both M/M and F/F ): any sexual innuendos aside but as a solid bromance - Adama/Tigh. Also, Baltar/Gaeta "I know who you are, Felix." - my creys :"(
Least Favorite Male Character: John Cavil aka Number One. Evil son of a bitch.
Least Favorite Female Character: Tory Foster, the bitch herself. What she did to Cally, how drastically she turned on humans after discovering she was a Cylon and suddenly got all bossy and stuff - just aaarrrrgggh. Let's say Chief strangling that piece of shit was the highlight of the finale for me.
Least Favorite Het Ship: Lee/Dualla. No no no, all wrong from the start. Oh, and Chief/Tory (with their Cylon Earth past blah-blah). And Tory/Baltar. I hate that wench if you haven't noticed.
Least Favorite Slash Ship ( both M/M and F/F ): idk... Kara/Admiral Cain? (if anyone shipped them romantically I'd give them a slap). Pretty much any Kara-related slash wouldn't work for me.
Dirty Little Secret: that me and my friend at work were IM-ing each other for an hour after we saw the white paint sex scene and couldn't stop raving about it? :D
Headcanon(s): Kara and Leoben had a proper goodbye in the finale, with them both acknowledging that he'd been right about her great destiny all along. If only.
Unpopular Opinion(s): Not sure if it's so unpopular - my general concern with the way things ended up... And let alone all the loose ends, I for one hated the idea of the finale Earth being our Earth. I adored, and I mean adored all those lovely octagonal books and shapes and the concept of our civilization being just the prototype for 12 Colonies and not the actual one that evolved from them... I could even (gladly) take the fact that we were all Cylons of the 13th Tribe destroyed by our own prospecting too deep... but Hera being the Mitochondrial Eve... nah. Kind of a personal letdown for me (long forgiven though).
