Merry Christmas, @artpo!
To the lovely Artpo:
I had so much fun writing this fic! Sorry it's so long, but I have a problem with keeping word counts, or deadlines, for that matter ❤️❤️❤️
Happy holidays, dear! I was so excited to pull your name out of the proverbial hat ❤️❤️❤️

Golden Lotus Lake
Golden Lotus Lake belonged to the Kittisawats.
It’s an exaggeration, but not by much. Porsche’s small family house has been on this lake since his great-grandfather, Pankrit Kittisawat, inherited the family property and rebuilt the small house that now sat on its shores. Because it was a small lake on the outskirts of an even smaller town that only saw seasonal tourism from locals escaping the bustle of the larger northern cities, Porsche was able to make just enough money as a nature guide and swim instructor to keep him going the whole year and fund his brother’s studies in Bangkok. He’d found his perfect balance - only locals in the know visited the small but picturesque town a few hours outside of Bangkok, and even fewer stumbled on the public boat on the lake for an afternoon of fishing or swimming. He had to contend with the occasional troop of local teenagers who came to fool around along the lake’s edge, leaving wet footprints and empty beer cans that Porsche fastidiously cleaned up by the very next day. He couldn’t help but feel a proprietary possession towards the small lake, even though he only owned half of the shoreline, including the land on which rested his home, and the acreage of farmland where he grew tea and kept animals. No one ever interfered with the other half. It had only ever been the Kittisawat’s cottage on Golden Lotus Lake and town folk had always treated the lake as their personal fiefdom.
