My card pieces for a hanafuda card deck and zine project, based on the Toilet-bound Hanako-kun series. The Picture Perfect arc was my favourite part of the series, so I wanted to pay homage to it!
Based on the March cards, the hanami curtain and a branch with three clusters of cherry blossoms:
Nene and Shijima both grapple with life, death, and their looming fates, so I wanted to show that while basing the composition off of the card's original design.
