So the bf and I have been discussing Jim's place and trying to figure out how it's laid out for quite awhile and were wondering if you had ever made a floor plan or had a more concrete description of the layout of his place?
So thanks to your ask I dove into my writing resources and dug out that design-your-blueprints website and the matching blueprint I’d been working on and I spent some time finishing it and tada:
Keep in mind that I know fuckall about architecture and design so the proportions are probably way off, but that’s the basic layout. One massive room with an open kitchen, dining area and living area (not the massive glass wall), and then a hallway that leads to the master bedroom, the bathroom opposite, the study on one side and the archival room on the other. The balcony looks a bit awkward, and it always gave me trouble: I knew one was there but I could never figure out where. So I just stuck it on the end of the hallway and hoped for the best.
As for the rest: this flat is on the fourth floor of a fancy building. The other floors are all used for storage or random experiments. There’s a basement as well, and a flat roof above the flat (both of which I had fun using for plot purposes).
I’m also gonna link you to this. It’s a sideblog I once created with the intention of filling it up with reference pictures and material. I never really got round to it, which is why there’s only one post, but I do intend to invest some time in it again soonish. If I find the time, that is.

it was so crazy!! seeing the footage and photos from people that were closer...it looked so insane. and apparently you could see the smoke and hear the explosions all over the city??? i’m shaken by the whole thing agh. i’m just relieved nobody was hurt though
