October 2018 Sock Artisan Crate Reveal
Itās the last crate this month, but hardly the least. Octoberās Sock Artisan Crate features dyer Artistic Eweās handiwork on a delightful 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon base called Fandango. Fandango has 450 yards per each skein, and comes in a soft color perfectly suited to this monthās mood board: Celery Stalk.Ā
This soft colorway will really highlight the handiwork of our designer this month, Star Athena. Starās pattern is called Doubledown, and is a quickie ankle sock that uses the yarn double-stranded to great effect! You might notice that the sock isnāt featured in the same colorway as the finished yarn. We had switched gears with the dyer halfway through the process, but this sock is so fast, Star already had it finished before we could let her know! (If thatās not an endorsement for making some of these as holiday presents, we donāt know what is)!
