(Part 3)

Update, 12/22/2021:

I am on episode 28. So much has gone on that I just took every minute possible to watch the series. Did I say that I loved this series!!

The human Shin has awoken and is acting as his usual asshole self. He and the AI are now switching out each day to go to work so the human Shin can catch up on business without overdoing things. He has already passed out several times from doing too much too fast.

The people that don’t know the AI exists are now thinking Shin has split personalities.… LOL.

To keep things normal, So-Bong has to be the bodyguard of both Shins when they are working. Shin, the human, treats her with disrespect and is taunting her regarding her love for the AI.

And she has fallen in love with the AI. She no longer hides her love for the AI.

Lots of people know about the AI now, Shin‘s grandfather who knew all along (because he was the one that funded the research that Shin’s mom used to create Shin), Seo Ye-Na (the girl that loves the human Shin), So-Bong’s reporter friend/roommate and now her father.

In-Na’s father, Seo Jung-Gil (she now knows he’s a murderer) guessed it correctly, but the day he decided to confront them, it was the human Shin that was working and he shattered a glass cutting his hand that bled. Even So-Bong didn’t know that it was the human Shin. In front of everybody she confessed her love for him and, of course, the human Shin was really nasty about it.

Later, So-Bong and the AI, Shin, went to a really sad movie, making So-Bong cry, when suddenly tears began to fall from Shin’s eyes. So-Bong realizes he’s been playing her. The human Shin looks at her and says, “I thought you told me you would not have a problem telling us apart” and gives her a much satisfied smile.

The adorable Seo Kang-Joon is lead actor in this series playing the robot and human, Nam Shin. Did I say that he is adorable?? 🥰 Gong Seung-Yeon plays the bodyguard, Kang So-Bong.

The story immediately got my attention and it only got better.

Shin, at 8 years old, is taken away from his mother by his crude, and conglomerate-owner grandfather after Shin’s father was killed. By threatening his mother, Shin was forced to stay with him.

Being in robotics and AI technology, Shin’s mother created an AI that looked just like him. She was able to watch her son grow through newscasts (of the rich and famous), so she created a teenager, and, eventually, the young adult Shin.

Once Shin locates his mother, he “escapes” to meet her. At the same time, for the first time, the AI was being taken into the public to a market. Shin is being followed. Shin and the AI find each other on opposite sides of the road. As they step into the street towards each other, the human Shin is seriously injured by a hit and run driver. The driver was found later with a gunshot to his head.

Shin’s mother and her AI partner take her comatose son to her home to be cared for. Shin’s personal secretary, Ji Young-Hoon, finds the home and Shin in a serious, medical condition. Knowing that the business would be taken over by Shin’s wanna-be fiance‘s father (the one that gave the kill order), the AI agrees to return as the human Shin. More later…..
