The first idea was Eddie in the labs, a sex killing machine.

The second is closer to the realities of Mount Massive. Eddie is resting after "hunting his wife."

The third is a flight of fancy - Eddie's latex and cat-like nature.

She believes in strong feelings and love, and when she gets sober, she becomes more realistic about the situation.
